The National Trust's new 10-year strategy talks more about climate change than country houses. It's an entrenched wokery that's convinced ex-trustee Nicholas Tate that Trump's anti-woke revolution may pass us by.

Mortgage Debt Solution

category national | housing | press release author Tuesday November 15, 2011 23:39author by PAW - People's Association Watchdogauthor email admin at paw dot ie Report this post to the editors

We have been writing to all members of the Dáil for months asking to participate in identifying possible solutions and offering a view from the troubled home owners perspective, we are still awaiting a reasonable response from the government.

The People's Association Watchdog have once again tried to engage the government and all members of the Oireachtas in our efforts to seek a socially acceptable and economically sound solution to the mortgage debt crisis. We have sent the attached communication to all members of the Oireachtas, this is our most recent of a series of attempts to ensure an inclusive solution can be found. We offer our solution based on the concerns expressed by Minister Noonan and An Taoiseach with regard to the "Can't Pay, Won't Pay" conundrum. We are at an advanced stage of organizing a demonstration involving many political and charity organisations to protest at the upcoming Allsop Auction of repossessed homes on the 30th November at the Shelbourne Hotel. Further austerity measures to be introduced in the upcoming budget will lead to a significant number of people who will have their homes in danger of repossession and we are preparing legal and civil disputes to highlight the continued arrogant injustices being perpetrated by the government upon the electorate. Sincerely Patrick Grant People's Association Watchdog

Get real.  They don't want to give any relief to the impoverished classes. They more or less said so in black and white.

You can look at their next budget for further details.

Lots of stealth flat taxes, cutting of rent allowance, while leaving tax loopholes firmly in place and paying off huge amounts of unguaranteed debt. It's a systematic drift.  A right wing wet dream of slicing social programs that could never have been gotten away with under other circumstances.

The fact is the poor foot the bill for the excesses of the rich. You're wasting your life writing letters they just laugh at and chuck straight in the bin.

I like the look of the recommendation, it seems to make good sense, thanks for putting the effort in, we all need people like you guys to show that their is a way, as for the comment by Poor Man.... we have too many people like him in the country, always complaining but never putting forward a solution. Keep up the great work peoples association watchdog.
