A Call to Defend Yourself , Your Family & Your Country

category national | public consultation / irish social forum | press release author Wednesday October 05, 2011 16:25author by PAW - People's Association Watchdog Report this post to the editors

The People of Ireland have had enough, Now we are telling the Government!
Be part of the decision making to format our future.
visit www.paw.ie

The Government have received proposals from many groups offering solutions to the mortgage crisis, but they will ignore all of these in favour of the banks' decisions unless we take immediate direct action to bring about the change that is required to fix this epidemic of misery.
The country is suffering with a debt disease that is killing us, a disease will not go away just because it has been diagnosed, it won't go away just because we bought a prescription, the disease needs to be attacked with the correct treatment to bring about a recovery.

Another example of the government abusing us and our country is this, despite widespread opposition and scientific proof of the dangers of Fracking, the government are sitting idly by as another foreign company "Tamboran", come into Ireland to destroy the water quality, environment and health of the entire population by using highly toxic chemicals. They will be sucking up and blasting massive amounts of water that we the tax payer must pay for through the upcoming water charges, this water then becomes contaminated by their chemicals and released back into the natural surroundings through groundwater. absolute devastation of the countryside is required for this practice and will result in the decimation of the wildlife, flora and waterways of the entire region, which affects us on a national level.

Furthermore, little is being mentioned about the power of the courts being handed over to businessmen in brussels, but that is exactly what is happening, An amendment has passed through the Dáil to change article 15 of our constitution which will give the government to use the law against anyone in the country, whether or not the courts agree, this is the same government that are standing over SNA cuts, pension slashes and a healthcare shame, do you trust the government to take honourable measures with these outrageous powers, this by any other name is tyranny.

The treatment of the ordinary man, woman and child in Ireland has been reduced to nothing more than that of a debt slave, we are working solely to pay off the gambling debts of foreign bankers, we are so punch drunk from the hardship measures that have been imposed on us that we cannot see the disgusting abuse of power going on around us.

It is time we done something more than just complaining, it is time to stand up for ourselves and our families, we cannot be a spectators when we suffer, we must do more than just sit and hope, we have to make it our responsibility and take ownership of our future, we have to join together to show that we will not just take what is thrown at us, we are the people, the banks are not the people, we make the decisions not them, they are nothing but shadowy men pulling the strings of their puppets in government.

The People's Association Watchdog are saying Enough, Enough to the hardship, Enough of the lies, Enough of the cosy cartels, the back room deals, the broken promises, We have had enough of the cuts, We will not take anymore of your corporate greed, Ireland is For the people, not for the corporation!

The People's Association Watchdog will be holding their first meeting on Saturday 15th October at the Red Cow Hotel in Dublin at 11am.
Everybody that cares about themselves, their family and their country is invited to attend, in fact encouraged to attend, show them that you will take no more, don't wait for others to do it, Do something that will make you and your family proud.
