We, Belgian doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore. The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good. The latest data for the number of Covid-19 cases per million is rising for the UK, Spain and France but is NOT for Sweden, Germany or Italy so far.

As reported back in April, Dr Marcus De Brun a GP from Dublin, who resigned from the Irish Medical Council over the mismanagement of Covid-19, was interviewed by Broadsheet. Because of his views, he has been silenced by the mainstream. His crime is that he has dared to criticize the Covid narrative. The country must be in a state of shock now that some sanity in the Covid-19 situation has broken out. The Irish Times of all places has actually published an article with this headline. It is unheard of: Covid-19: Doctors call for ‘utterly meaningless’ daily figures to be dropped We have known for some time that many doctors know the whole thing on reporting daily cases (as well as previously locking up the healthy and forcing them to wear masks), for a diseases that about 95% of the time only kills those who are very ill already, is a total farce. However mainly due to watching their backs, careers, being social ostracised or downright cowardice, have been afraid to speak out. Now, at long last the first tentative steps have been taken. Perhaps because they realize the entire medical establishment is rapidly losing all credibility because it has gone along with this farce and most people are obeying the rules just because everyone else does. Well over 10,000 people have attend a rally in Trafalgar Square, London around midday today (Sat 29th Aug) to ‘Unite for Freedom’ and ‘Take off the mask!’ and to demand a ‘back to normal now’ As of 9pm the BBC still had not reported on it. The march began in Trafalgar Square and marched to the Houses of Parliament to show opposition to the ongoing shutdowns and unnecessary restrictions There were also large protests going on at the same time in Berlin where over 18,000 attended but it is very difficult to find anything other than derisory coverage from the mainstream media. ... read full story / add a comment

At the start of this Covid crisis, many thought it was just a virus and if they followed government we would soon get back to normal life. Clearly that is not the case. Instead the "experts" tell us this will continue indefinitely into the future, we have surrendered our rights to experts, bureaucrats and polticans and the global economy is being destroyed. Not only that all forms of social interaction -the very essence of being human - have been severely and continue to be curtailed and now we are told we will have to be tracked, monitored, forcefully tested, DNA sampled and vaccinated. Already the woke crowd have attacked her in an effort to discredit her. In a paper titled: “Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings—Personal Protective and Environmental Measures.” Published in: “Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vol.26, No. 5, May 2020, it says: Here, we review the evidence base on the effectiveness of nonpharmaceutical personal protective measures and environmental hygiene measures in non-healthcare settings and discuss their potential inclusion in pandemic plans. Although mechanistic studies [*] support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza. The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has released a press release today where they did their own analysis of the excess deaths in Ireland since early March and the figure they come to is between 1,100 and 1,200 which is substantially lower than the "official" Covid death toll of 1700+. This means that as was suspected the official number was way too liberal with categorizing deaths as due to Covid. This new figure is closer to a regular year of flu in terms of number of deaths and conclusively proves that Covid is barely any more dangerous than flu in terms of threat. What we see here is a slow back track and while the emphasis is still on social distancing, this is merely to give cover to the fact that at a minimum this has been one big mistake and a massive over-reaction but is true of many other countries but not all.
