True Democracy Now - Solidarity with the #SpanishRevolution (Galway)

They are seeking to create a real democracy that rises above the stagnant two-party system and the narrow interests of big business and finance.

The protests began as spontaneous, grassroots demonstrations of frustration, ...and have retained that character to date. Ordinary people, through social networking and word-of-mouth hAve organised protest after protest.

Protesters have begun to camp out in Spain's central plazas and thoroughfares ahead of the major demonstrations called for this Saturday. These events have been banned by an establishment that fear the potency of grassroots organisation. Activist have put out an international call for solidarity.

In response to that call we are asking people to join others in Dublin and Cork, and across Europe, and to show their support by assembling at the Spanish Arch at 2pm.
