This is the exact argument of the British government for the last three decades. We need the civilsed forces of the Crown to separate the two savage Irish tribes.

First that they're not republicans. This is definitely shite since they explicitly want a Republic. Hint for Mr O'Donnell .. the R in IRA.
Second, they are "bigoted nationalists". It's not clear whether Mr O'Donnell believes that all nationalists are bigoted or whther just the provo version of nationalism is bogoted. Whichever some evidence for this wild assertion would help the case.
Lastly, the bit about being a Rangers _and_ Celtic fan. How pathetic; your status as impartial commentator established by your allegiance to two members of a Scottish sporting association.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the fact that we in the 26 counties live in the 'Republic of Ireland' mean that we already have a republic?

There is endless talk about the republican movement but seeing as we (or at least those of us south of the border) live in a republic is the republican movement really moving anywhere?

My great grandfather left his home in Australia to fight against the British. He was in the
General Post Office in 1916. Many of his friends were killed or executed by the British. How many times has shoot to kill been used against Loyalists? NEVER!!!!!!!

How many times have the British government used British money to arm Nationalists? NEVER!!!!!

On many occasions, the British have given assistance, arms, intelligence to "Loyalist" death sqauds.

The British have never been and most likely will never be honest middle-men in the NI conflict. It is THEIR British Protestant settlers that they support. They have never supported the indigenous Irish Catholics.

When Irish Catholics are murdered by British Loyalists, the British government hardly notices. They do whatever Unionists want because they want to keep NI as part of their territory ~ regardless of what they say. Actions speak louder than words.

And for your information I do not consider myself free, and although people have fought and died for my freedom, I don't think they got it. Not until we have a socialist Ireland will the Irish be any where near being free.

And not until the labour movement in all it's shades gets over it's historical hang ups and seriously starts moving towards it's goal of a socialist ireland (preferably a libertarian kind of socialist ireland) can any of the residents of ireland be free.

And finally, yes, I do consider myself Irish although I consider my race and my nationality politically irrelevant.
