INFO

DAWID BISTRAM is a socio-cultural animateur working with different arts and music forms
David Bistram is curating the Thursdays night event FOOD FOR THOUGHTS @ SHE-D, grounded on a biodiversity of electronic music and animations. The music programme involves combination of short- terms loops to produce revitalizing climate for soul and mind. The sound bases on 7hz beat sent through a spider-like net of sound devices. The atmosphere of the space will be highlighted with works of artists.

Amanda Feery is a musicmaker based in Dublin, working with acoustic and electronic music.
She gained a B.A in Music from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 and recently completed an M.Phil in Music and Media Technologies, from Trinity College Dublin. Her work has been performed both nationally and internationally in the U.K, U.S, and the Netherlands by groups such as Ensemble ICC, Crash Ensemble, RIAM Percussion Ensemble, Dublin Guitar Quartet, and Orkest de Ereprijs.
She was the 2009 winner of the West Cork Chamber Music Composer Award and the same year participated at the International Young Composers Meeting, studying with Louis Andriessen. She was recently selected for a composer residency at the Bang on a Can Summer Festival, at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.

As a producer he is known for releases on a variety of electronic labels, most recently his debut album "Molten Membrane" on Mantrap Records. As an improviser Ed has worked with the John Mary Trilogy band and is currently involved in the FYED noise project with Fionn Wallace, and a live electronic group with Conor Hinfey and Dara Grehan. When not making music Ed also helps in the running of Second Square to None (events, label, blog, audiovisuals), and is part of the A4 Sounds group and workspace. His interest in sound design has in recent years led him to build his own instruments, one of which will be used for this gig.

Since graduating from the University of Limerick with an MA in Music Technology I've been involved in noise, free improv, folk, rock, singer-songwriter projects all of which bleed into each other. My main instruments are guitar and sundry electronic devices some of which are made and modified by myself. I currently play in United Bible Studies and Toymonger and with Suzanne Walsh. I've also played in Wyntr Ravn, Agitated Radio Pilot, Amygdala, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Murmansk, The Magickal Folk Of The Faraway Tree and many other occasional or once-off improv groupings. I co-run the Deserted Village label.
