Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza
China?s CITY WIDE CASH SEIZURES Begin ? ATMs Frozen, Digital Yuan FORCED Overnight Wed Jul 30, 2025 21:40 | 1 of indy
This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty
A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

The BBC: My Part In Its Downfall Fri Nov 14, 2025 13:21 | Iain Macwhirter
BBC staff have always been very Left-wing, but they used to avoid letting it show. That all changed in 2014, first with climate change, then trans, then anything 'Right-wing'. It's been a disaster, says Iain Macwhirter.

Where are the Lisbon Jobs?that Jimmy and Zanu FF promised.
Got this link on Facebook about the protest
http://eirigisligeach.blogspot.com/2010/04/may-day-prot....html
Hope there is a good turn out for this. Will there be any speeches at this?
Mayor Mc Garry hopefully as first citizen will attend this protest, and make the first speech.
i dont think Mayor Jimmy or any Labour party people would have the nerve to turn up to this
Jimmy Mc Garry is a lifelong staunch Union member ever since his messenger boy days in Tohers. His party colleagues Veronica Cawley is another stalwart of Trade Unionism as is the Euro/representative for Connaught/Ulster Susan O,Keefe. As both Veronica and Susan aspire to win a Dail seat for Sligo/NL at the next election at Devins expense, its in all their interests to attend.
I know they are hughie but they are also all supportive of the trade union leadership and the sell out by ICTU which this demo and campaign are against
Melissa if what you say is true they should be ashamed of themselves,as anyone who advocates and supports the ICTU sell out are traitors of the Working Class.Unfortunately I am not surprised as only this week Labour invited a right wing former Pee Dee TD May Sexton to join its ranks.
Thats right hughie they do support the deal. Ask them yourself.
As far as i know there will be no speakers or at least no political speakers. And if there are there should not be
There was a decent enough turn out at the protest.
About 50-60 people turned out and picketed the office of Devins FF TD for about 40 minutes.
It was a good natured event with some singing and chanting, plenty of media interest.
It is the start of something anyway.
Que se vayan todos!
I believe the IRSP were prevented from having a banner at today's protest. Can anyone confirm if that is the case. Thats what one of the young IRSP lads told me
It was agreed at the organising meeting to keep the event political party free.
Rhona, do you know will that exclude speakers with political affiliations at future events? Were the IRSP told not to use their banner today? Was that what happened?
Members of political parties joined the protesters, prominent was Declan Bree and members of his Connolly Forum who afterwards held a ceremony to honour that great Sligo man Ald John Lynch.Sinn Fein were represented by Chris Mc Manus, local election candidate Seamie O,Boyle and Cake Scanlon the former Green GE candidate were also present,I also saw members of Eirigi and SWP.the vast majority were ordinary decent Trade Unionists disgusted with the Zanu/FF Government and its local representatives.Needless to say our Illustrious Mayor Jimmy Mc Garry and his Labour party colleagues Veronica Cawley and Susan O,Keefe were conspicous by their absence.
Some photos
I dont understand why people had a problem with an IRSP banner at this rally. There were banners from all sorts at all the May Day rallies around the country, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Derry etc . Is sligo the only may day rally to ban such banners? Censorship?
Delighted with the protest. Please organise more. We all need to get up off our arses
I don’t think anyone was prevented from displaying banners. As far as I know it was agreed at the meetings of the Alliance leading up to the protest that only trade union placards and banners would be used at this event and that party political banners would not be displayed.
Joan, the young lads from the IRSP were prevented from having their banner at the protest. All around the country people marched to mark May Day with their banners and placards of their trade unions, political parties etc. What is the problem with it in Sligo? The more the merrier I say
Well done to the organizers. And well done on the issue of the banners from “political groups”. As an active trade unionist I certainly wouldn’t have joined in the protest if it was to be hijacked by a group like the IRSP especially given their record with regards to the drugs trade and other criminal activities I don’t think any decent person would wish to be associated with them in any way.
Not what could potentially divide us.
At this particular time, regardless of how you feel about the presence or absence of particular banners, flags or whatever, try to focus on what unites those of us who are disenchanted with the current goverment.
There is strength in Unity and this has to remembered.
As Hughie pointed out in an earlier thread the failure of the Labour Party to get even one member out on the protest speaks volumes about them. They have three councillors and a general election candidate and not one of them bothered to turn up to show their support for the public sector workers. John McCarrick, who was Jimmy McGarry’s Director of Elections is in fact asking SIPTU members to vote in favor of the Governments Croke Park deal.
Shame on Labour in Sligo. Larkin and Connolly must be turning in their graves!
Hi folks, as one of the people involved in organising the Sligo Workers Alliance protest on May Day, I just wanted to say its good to hear some positive feedback. The purpose of the group is to bring people together in a common interest (dissatisfaction with the Goverment) we welcome anyone that wants to be involved but we dont want to be hyjacked by any political party, thats because it could end up excluding people based on their own political views. As you can see from the pics we are a diverse group. We want to include, public, private, union, non-union and unemployed workers and the families of those groups. Any suggestions on how to make it a bigger success would be welcome. If you can try to encourage your friends/family to get involved next time, that would be great. Thanks.
I think Saturdays protest was a success. The turnout for me was better than I expected.
We now need to build on that. I dont believe there was any attempt by any organisation or politician to "hi-jack" this event (whatever that actually means). This sort of stuff is petty and should be left aside.
The reality is that we wont defeat this administration and reverse the cuts squabbling over such issues. We also wont win at the negotiating table.
Theonly way we will win is by sustained action in the workplace and on the streets. Saturday was a good start. Now we need to keep the momentum going and step it up a gear.
Sorry Gerry, no offence intended, certainly was not intimating that anyone had tried to hyjack the protest, I was responding to earlier questions as to why political banners were not displayed. It is understood that Unity is key here so no petty remarks were intended or made.
Backbench ZanuFF Deputies like Devins and his fellow gombeen Eamon Scanlon ,who by their unconditional support for the government in the Dail ,voting for every draconian measure that inflicts hardship on the Old ,the Sick, the Low Paid and the Unemployed, while at the same time protecting their Galway Tent pals by throwing Billions of Euros into rogue Banks to bail out their Speculator Builder and Developer friends.Make no mistake that the Blueshirt and Labour so called alternative will do no different if they were in power. They are fooling nobody?.
L - SWA , my comments werent directed at yourself. Apologies if you thought they were. They were directed at some of the divisive comments being posted by a number of contributors, in particular that of "CPSU and proud of it".
As I said earlier we now need to step up the campaign and build on the momentum from Saturday. Personal or political grievances people have with individuals or political organisations have no place in a campaign like this.
Agreed.
