offsite link The Truth About Britain?s Wildfires Thu Aug 21, 2025 15:00 | Paul Homewood
It is simplistic to blame the recent spike in wildfires on climate change, writes Paul Homewood. A more likely cause is the rewilding of uplands, supposedly to cut carbon emissions, and poor management of forested land.

EARTHQUACK’s tagline is 'Failure is an option'. A number of acts who are already experimental /improvisational/challenging are already lined up for it, but I think it would be especially interesting to have more straight ahead artists trying out their wackiest ideas... let me know.

ZORILLA
A long and colourful history aside, ZORILLA began as a child-eating devil in a Swiss ski-resort. Or was it Marko and Rosso writing tricksy surprising and dramatic instrumentals over a couple of years before bringing in the unique, raw-soul vocal tones of Keelin (along with songs the she and Rosso had written what with them being sibling to one another and everything). Add the un-macho swagger of Gillo on guitar and lastly add the studio savvy and drum abuse and frequent indigestion of Diarmo and there you go: Zorilla!

BRIAN CONNIFFE (FEMALE ORPHAN ASYLUM)
Raconteur, bon viveur and psychonaut will be taking up duties once again in the DJ booth and will be joined by fellow EARTHQUACK!
