Jump To Comment: 1This mayday bank holiday saw a huge anti-militarist demo in brighton, aimed at the EDO/ITT arms company. As hundreds of protestors were in the streets of Brighton, the opportunity was taken to also send a message to Shell at their local garage 'Shell out of Rossport!'.
Shell returned to Glengad with fences and machinery on Wednesday 22nd April, with force and violence. Since then there have been a number of attempts at removing the fences and stopping the work, with a mixture of failure and success.
