Jump To Comment: 1 2 3Things are starting to unravel for them now. How this is recorded depends on how it's spun by Raytheon, the Derry Chamber of Commerce, Councillors, Radio Foyle, The Derry Journal etc., and by the anti-Raytheon lobby. Time to get writing letters, folks.
Article says (which I assume comes from the mouth of Raytheon)
"and we are using the opportunity to review the future of our Northern Ireland plants. "
I thought they only had a plant in Derry. Any idea where the others are?
Or in other words the grants have all run out.
Raytheon have been in Derry for exactly 10 years now.
They received funding from Invest NI and probably got breaks from the government and the council.
Their grace period has now run out.
The tax payers money is no longer paying for their building or their workforce so they will do what so many other companies have done before them - close down, up sticks and move to the next place which will give them grants and tax breaks to peddle their wares.
Just another corportion who rapes the tax payers and the workers of this country.
