National - Event Notice Thursday January 01 1970 ICTU National Day of Action![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Over Pension Levy, Private Sector Pensions and Cuts Generally The Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) has called a National Day of Action for Saturday, February 21st over the Government's Pension Levy, the lack of protection for Private Sector Pensions and the Cuts Generally. March Assembles Garden of Remberance, Parnell Square, Dublin at 2pm. I'm calling on all (all workers, private and public sector, the unemployed, those who've been affected by the cuts generally, the voluntary and community sector and the general public) to attend in mass numbers to show this 'Government' that we're as mad as hell, and that Saturday, February 21st is only the start of a long war of attrition.
