*Lars Lundberg* is a member of the Building Workers Union in Sweden and a member of its Executive Committee. He has been active in the Swedish labour movement for many years.

*John Hendy QC * is one of Britain's leading barristers and specialises in labour law and has written extensively on ECJ judgements (Laval, Ruffert and Luxembourg cases). He was legal brief to the National Union of Miners in Britain during the miner strike. He is also chairperson, Institute of Employment Rights < www.ier.org.uk > . Both speakers are flying in specially for the seminar.

The seminar will provide an important opportunity to hear from people with first hand knowledge and experience in relation to these important judgements which will have a major and growing impact on the lives of Irish workers and their families over the coming period.
