The new Seomra Spraoi

category dublin | anti-capitalism | news report author Saturday October 04, 2008 22:24author by Andrew - WSM (personal capacity) Report this post to the editors

Seomra Spraoi, the Dublin social center project, is back once again. This afternoon I visited and splashed some paint on the walls of the new premises at 10 Belvedere Court, 1 lane North of Mountjoy square.

Somewhere in the region of 15 people were working on getting the new building tidied up.

nice vid, edit, upload work andrew, thanks

space looks great, well done all, for how long have you the space, near enough to the old SFX theatre, is that still going? old days therapy, whipping boy gigs there...

Great area to be in, much potential, only around the corner from 2004`s IMC-IE physical space for Mayday activities, good mix of communities, great streets, DIT where there used be a bikeworkshop, and the park, much footy and space for pic nics... interesting space for GAA days at croker.

This could be the biggest step for ye yet...

Best of luck from Barcelona
