Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza
China?s CITY WIDE CASH SEIZURES Begin ? ATMs Frozen, Digital Yuan FORCED Overnight Wed Jul 30, 2025 21:40 | 1 of indy
This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty
A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Why is 'pandemic preparedness' a major theme of the US Government's new 'America First' Global Health Strategy, asks Dr David Bell. There are some sound public health principles in there, but the 'pandemic' con lives on.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6I have shopped at Tesco since they first came to Ireland. I have always found them on the whole the best supermarket to shop at. Some of the items may have been over the years a bit more expensive so maybe for those items could would head to Dunnes but on the whole there is nothing like the service and welcome you get at any Tesco store. In Bray where I live Superquinn were known for having a larger selection but their prices reflected this upwards.
The caring and welcome you get in a store is equally important to the produce they sell. I have found they have been competitive and were the first in my opinion to start the massive 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 offers that the other supermarkets have now followed.
They also have an absolutely no quibble refund of the ENTIRE amount of a produce if by some chance they have been read incorrectly at the checkout etc.
I know of several friends who work for Tesco and have nothing but good to say for the company who treat them well which is very important in this day and age when staff can often be just treated as a number on a spread sheet.
I think it is downright low and hitting below the belt to have Lidl doing such awful advertising. It is not only an insult to Tesco but its shoppers as well. How dare they. We survived before they came to Ireland and if they packed up and left we would survive again and Tesco and Dunnes would still be here with us.
THANK YOU TESCO FOR SUCH GREAT SERVICE OVER THE YEARS.
I also enjoy their Clubcard which I forgot to mention. You even get points on their lower priced produce. You don't get that in Lidl. Also you don't get the other range of services Insurance, Loans and their own garages etc., where you can also get points.
SUCCESS TO YOU AGAIN TESCO. THANK YOU.
A happy and loyal shopper.
Well, all I can say is that Tesco's use of the so called "loyal housewife" knows no end.I hope "Margaret"spends her renumeration at Tesco..... and not at Lidls where the real value is..!
Tesco are suing a critic in Thailand who says they have "aggressive" policies for one billion baht - about €25million euro.
Siratranont (the man being sued) said: 'The aggressive policy of expanding business in Thailand, not only in the big cities but also in the districts and sub-districts, is a contentious issue. The large-scale expansion of the big retailers must be exercised with great care - not too aggressively and too rapidly - to reduce the potential tension, which could lead to serious conflict. There is also the need for the small retail traders to adjust to changes. Tesco Lotus must take all of this into account.'

Now, Margaret, tell us again how welcome Tesco make people feel, and how honest they are, and how much good value they provide.
In Tesco We Trust
I would hope that with Tesco's expansion in Thailand and other similar areas it would give employment to a lot of local women and girls who up until Tesco's arrival did not have these opportunities of employment and had to make ends meet through prostitution and other unsavoury means. Thailand is notorious for the exploitation of women (and young males) with the sex tourists.
There is good and bad in everything depending on how you look at it. If the Company gives a lot of local employment as it must then that is GOOD.
You will get begrudgers everywhere - you look for a fault and you will find it. You look for some positive outcome like employment for locals and that is there too.
I know if Tesco pulled out of Ireland we would have masses more people on our already overburdened Social Welfare system drawing the dole. Think of the employment all their stores in Ireland bring and thank our lucky stars that they are expending here in Ireland at a time when people need a job.
No I do NOT work for Tesco. No I am not getting any backhanders from them but FAIR IS FAIR.

Tesco are one of the most aggressive companies in the supermarket industry, but that's business.
I have to agree that some of Tescos products are trash, particularly the "fresh" produce.
We don't buy meat or poultry from Tesco, if we can help it. The sunday roast comes from the local butcher and is good quality local, free range, organic etc. It seems a little more expensive at first, but considering the weight, it's actually cheaper than the equivalent in Tesco, and better quality.
Other packaged meat, such as mince, we get from Lidl. Recently my wife couldn't get the mince from Lidl and had to resort to Tesco. My god it was awful, about 10 pieces of gristle and 3 pieces of bone on my plate. Never had that with Lidl.
My wife just brought home some fresh veg and there were tiny maggots on some salad veg. Could happen anywhere, I admit, but I'm starting to wonder about Tesco standards.
Add the fact that Tesco like to stock what suits them, not us, and to be honest if we could get all the tinned and packaged food elsewhere locally, I think we'd give up on them. At least in the UK they have ASDA to give them a frequent kick in the arse. I was recently cooking a dish that required around 5 different spices. Tesco had one of them, Lidl had them all!
