"The Stormont Agreement is not for Republicans, and the Republican Movement must stand firm and fight on on its own. We in the Republican Movement must be strong – we must get back to where we were before this erupted and before people's vision became blurred. There were people in the Republican Movement who thought that this would never happen – that they would go into Stormont, and become Ministers of the Crown, and that they would implement the rule of British law over us Republicans...."

Hi Mark!

Thanks for that - much appreciated!
There was a great turn-out , Mark - but , like you said ,it attracted another type, too :
no matter , nothing we could do about that.
Dan Hoban was fantastic on the day - I've seen him in action before and knew what to expect!

Thanks!

Sharon.

Sorry i couldnt make this years Republican Tone commemoration.

Ill be be there next year though, The cousin went and was telling me was 900 to a 1000 Republicans attended thats the best crowd in a few years so.

Looks like every year more and more fall away from the provos and return to the Republican Movement. Add to that the amount of young people who showing up in droves and the Republican cause is on the way up again!

Hi Marky!

Such was the amount of young people and/or 'new faces' present in Sallins last Sunday that the State agents (Special Branch and SDU) looked worn out
at the end of their day from having chased them down to get their names and addresses.
I almost felt sorry for them at one stage....
;-)

Thanks!

Sharon.
