The Fall of Saint Jacinda is a Cautionary Tale Sat Aug 13, 2022 14:59 | Toby Young
At one point, Jacinda Arden was hailed as the global face of progressive politics. Now, the New Zealand Labour Party is facing a wipe out at the next election. Is this a cautionary tale for other would-be woke leaders?

Best regards to all....

Should be a great day!
It would be greatly appreciated if people could print off as many of these as possible and post everywhere to show their support in a practical way. Many thanks :)

I will consider it an honour and a privilege to be permitted to do some storytelling on the open mikes.
In the afternoon session, I would like to tell an abridged version of the Voyage of Mael Dun - suitable for all the family.
In the evening, I would like to tell at least one story about the Cailleach Bhéarra - the wandering hag-goddess who did so much to shape ancient Ireland.
Do dhaoine fásta is mó a bhím ag scéalaíocht, agus cuirim béim faoi leith ar na scéalta nua a bhfaighim ó fhoinsí idirnáisiúnta, ach an uair seo beidh an-áthas orm eisceacht a dhéanamh agus scéalta traidisiúnta Éireannacha a insint ar son na cúise.
Beir bua agus beannacht,
Coilín.
Given the history of this building and it's fantastic interior and architectural decor, it's indeed a salubrious and fitting venue for such an event. I've no doubt, it will do justice to the noble issue in question - the Tara/Skryne Valley. Looks like a packed day; hope I can make it for a while!!
The kid's day will extend 12pm-6pm, following which there will be an hour for clean up and
preparations for the sessions , which will extend 7pm-12.30am.
The 7pm-00.30am session is adult only . There will be a bar, DJ, Open Mic and Trad session.
So:
12pm-6pm : Kids play, craft, history and Lore (and all day treasure hunt). At the same time
there will be documentaries, talks and information on the Valley with an emphasis
on Ecological and environmental issues throughout the day for adults.
6pm-7pm : Clean up and break before evening session.
7pm- 12.30 am: Bar , DJ and open mic poetry and trad session.
(I can re-write the story with clarifications if it's not clear- organisers and volunteers
only between 6pm-7pm)
The day session is five euros per person with concessions available for the evening session.
