Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

Gaza starves as the world does a Pontius Pilate?

"The collective punishment of the population of Gaza, which has been instituted for months now, has failed" (UN Special Coordinator, Robert Serry)

Fuel and medical shortages, unbridled Israeli military attacks, trade embargoes, travel restrictions and now the food crisis has brought Gaza to the edge of an all out humanitarian crisis: out of a population of 1.4 million, the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), last Thursday, due to the Israeli fuel blockade has halted food aid to 700,000 refugees and the World Food Programme to another 127,000. Michael Jansen in last Friday's Irish Times http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/breaking/2008/0306/bre....html states that: "Due to the grounding of its vehicles, UNRWA also reduced operations at 214 schools serving 200,000 children and 19 health centres as well as refuse collection in eight refugee camps housing 500,000"
fpc1.jpg

John Ging, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA in Gaza, on 24th April 2008, confirmed that flour mills were set to run out of fuel and that many ambulances had been forced to remain idle as they lacked petrol, the central pharmacy was in dire need of fuel for refrigeration with vaccines for 50,000 infants at risk of spoiling because of lack of refrigeration and that rubbish continued to pile up in the streets as refuse trucks were unable to move. Ging said that: "People are desperate. Everybody needs fuel. If the farmers can't get fuel, they can't pump water to irrigate their crops. About 70,000 people are without water in their homes; 25 per cent are getting water once every four days because of electricity cuts. All the hospitals are below the critical mark in their fuel resources. The laundry service in Gaza's biggest hospital has been reduced by 50 per cent, with all the unhygienic consequences. Teachers have no fuel to drive to their schools. It's not the distributors' responsibility to decide between hospitals and municipalities, or whether a doctor should get fuel."

Following Ging’S announcement, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Robert Serry, called on Israel to restore sufficient fuel supplies to Gaza and allow the passage of humanitarian and commercial goods. Serry said."The collective punishment of the population of Gaza, which has been instituted for months now, has failed."

Aid groups and legal experts have called Israel's blockade illegal under international law because it constitutes "collective punishment" of the entire population which voted the wrong way, as it were, in democratically electing Hamas to power, in their 2007 publication: Perilous Power; The Middle East and US Foreign Policy, Noam Chomsky and Gilbert Achar say: "The pretext for punishing Palestinians is that Hamas refuses to accept three demands; to recognize Israel, cease all acts of violence, and accept earlier agreements. Unmentioned is that Israel and the United States flatly reject all of these conditions. They do not recognise Palestine; they refused to end their violence even when Hamas observed a unilateral truce for a year and a half and called for a long-term truce while negotiations proceed for a two-state settlement; and they dismissed with utter contempt the 2002 Arab League call for normalization of relations, along with all other proposals for a meaningful diplomatic settlement. Even when it accepted the “Road Map” that is supposed to define US policy, Israel added fourteen “reservations” that rendered it entirely meaningless, eliciting the usual tacit approval in Washington and silence in commentary".

* Almost 18 per cent of patients seeking emergency treatment outside Gaza, last year, were refused permits to leave.

* All exports from the Gaza Strip are banned by the Israelis, which, combined with the prohibition on
importing raw materials, has brought the private sector to its knees.

* Last week, at the UN in New York, the United States, Britain and France walked out of a closed meeting of the Security Council after Libya compared the situation in Gaza to Nazi concentration camps. The council's South African president, Dumisani Kumalo, closed the meeting.

* The aid halt comes after Israel rejected Hamas's offer for a six-month truce in the Gaza Strip on the basis it was a "ruse". On Thursday, Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar said the deal could also extend to the West Bank.

* The human rights organisation Al-Haq has stated that: "This is the first time in history that sanctions have been imposed on the victims of an oppressive regime rather than on the regime itself.”

* At least 4,719 Palestinians and 982 Palestinian children have been killed by Israelis since September 29, 2000.

* 32,213 Palestinians have been injured since September 29, 2000.

* During Fiscal Year 2007, the U.S. gave more than $6.8 million per day to Israel and $0.3 million per day to the Palestinians

* 18,147 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel since 1967

* 1 Israeli is currently being held prisoner by Palestinians, while 10,756 Palestinians are imprisoned
by Israel

* Israel currently has 223 Jewish-only illegal settlements and 'outposts' built on confiscated Palestinian land.

The problem is that we seem unable to address the plight of the Palestinians properly because of POLITICAL considerations (can't afford to take a "wrong" stand on the broader issues of the conflict).

Let me try to explain that.

We can't seem to address the issue "the Palestinians don't have supplies" because unwilling to propose solutions to that which are neutral with regard to the right of Israel to exist. THUS .....

It is wrong (of Israel) to oppose the proposal that the UN or whoever is interested in making this happen that frieghters full of supplies arrive and offload onto Gaza beaches or proposals that supplies be allowed to come into the West Bank via Jordananian land routes or air space.

However it is wrong of us to insist that the culprit is Israel for not allowing supplies/people in and out THROUGH ISRAEL --- to argue in that way is to argue that Israel does not have the right of existence as an independent state. The fact that bringing in supplies through Israel would be much cheapr and more convenient does not give us the right to DEMAND that (unless we mean to be taking a position on the right of Israel to exist).

Understand what I am saying here? Nobody is willing to make proposals to solve the problem of the Palestinians in a way that recognizes Israel -- politically unacceptable. Look folks, Israel OWES to the Palestinians a full and total end of the occupation, owes it to them to let them organize a free and independent Palestinian state, to survive as best they can, and in peace with their more powerful neighbor if they choose to do so. BUT (very big but)

1) There would be no obligation, and no righteous demand on our part that Israel allow ANY crossing of its border with this free Palestinain state. Israel wouldNOT be surrounding either part. The fact that the only existing ECONOMIC routes for people and goods would be through Israel is not Israel's fault (other than by existing) and not WRONGDOING on Israel's part to either have access totally closed OR extract a price for a negoitated concession.

2) There would be no obligation, and no righteous demand on our part that Israel excersize restaint if people of this now free Palestinian state, bearing the responsibilities as well as the priveleges of statehood, chose to attack Israel across the border. It is accepted that in this situation it is the call of the attacked state whether it considers the state from which the attacks come to be doing an adequate job of trying to control "bandits" or whether a sate pof war now exists between the states. Again, Israel woudl be entitled to extract a price for negotiated restarint.

There's no bloody much the Palestinians have to bargain with that the Israelis might want EXCEPT conceeding their claim to Jerusalem. Sorry, but "peace" the Israelis don't need from them as the Israelis would crush them in battle (and only need take care not to OCCUPY to bear no responsibility for the survival of the civilian population).

The Hamas government who run Gaza do not recognise the right of the state of Israel to exist.
Palestinian schoolchildren are taught to hate Jews, are indoctrinated with the most extreme form of intolerant Islamic fundementalism and suicide bombings and the murder of innocent Jewish men women and children is glorified.
The Hamas organisation are firing shrapnel filled rockets at Israeli border towns.
Hamas terrorists have launched attacks over the Israeli border.
Israel does not occupy the Gaza strip and all Jewish settlements were removed in 2005.
Hamas is not interested in peace only the destruction of Israel and explusion and/or genocide of the Jewish people.
The Hamas organisation has the support of the majority of Gazans.
Why should Israel tolerate this situation?
Why would any nation on earth tolerate this situation?

It is truly bizarre that Socialists and the Left would be willfully blind to the fanatical religious psychopathology of Hamas, an ideological bedfellow of Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Hamas organisation seek not just the destruction of Israel but the establishement of a global caliphate.

They are opposed to women's rights, homosexual rights, they advocate the stoning of adulterers, cutting off the hands of thieves, beheading infidels (who include everyone who is nonMuslim) the support democracy only as long as Islamists like themselves are elected and they support the murder of men women and children to achieve their ends.

Hamas are terrorist murderers and killers.

They are Nazis and you twits who care not a jot about the consequences for Israelis who live thousands of miles away are the cheerleaders of terrorists.

First, I am old enough to remember as a witness, the world before 1967. The Arab states and PLO guerillas did not leave Israel alone then, when she was in the Green Line which the Arabs did not recognise as a border for two decades - and the current war was on then as a vicious exchange of patrols along the borders. The Arab War on Israel is not caused by 1967, but was caused by Arab refusal to accept UN 181 in 1947 which the Palestinians still refuse, or they would not have rocketed Israel after her withdrawal from Gaza - a splendid piece of political incompetence because if the Arabs had kept quiet Israel would have left most of the West Bank too. Now that is unlikely, "in the foreseeable future."

Yes Israel owes recognition to an Arab state in Palestine under 181 but all Arabs owe Israel recognition that she is self determinedly independent from the Arab World in the same way that Pakistan - an equally religious foundation with refugees - is independent from Hindu India. Why an Irish discussion of all platforms, can not understand that Arab imperialism is as out of order as British imperialism is a nice puzzle. An even odder behaviour is that the Irish are justifiably proud - with Israelis - that they succeeded in establishing their state sub rosa despite British presence so that it stood up when the British left. Perhaps some Palestinista could explain why the PLO / PA / Hamas cannot make its state stand up effectively as a responsible state? I suggest they do not wish to be a state because that would involve accepting the World status quo for states of being responsible and peaceful with the neighbours' states and having to do some serious economics.

So much for "high" theory of statehood. Gaza is not starving. I have taught in British industrial towns long enough to recognise undernourished faces and all the Arabs on TV are plump faced and well girthed. Second Hamas has to explain why and where it has sequestered all the fuel and much of the food already supplied? and why it attacks fuel tanker lorries? Third when is the PLO, & PA minions going to disgorge the embezzled aid €U aid money? Most important: all the entries to Gaza are not to Israel; so when is Egypt going to do anything for its Moslem Arab "brothers"???

Finally look again at the pictures Hamas supplied of fuel and power shortages in Gaza. Behind the children holding candles are street lights and neon adverts around the edges of the cliché. In the background of the picture of the Hamas cabinet of incompetents there are streaks of daylight in the curtains. You have been had! Not only on elementary PR. If the Arabs get rid of Israel because you go under to their petroleum bribery you will find them insisting you dump your Irish for Islam . For everybody's sake the sooner the world goes into alternative energy and makes the Arabs put up or shut up - the better for all including Gaza. Britiain aided Germany AFTER the war NOT during it.

" Occupied Palestinian territories
• In January 2008 Israel escalated its blockade of Gaza, leading to severe power cuts, disruption of water supplies and sewage treatment, and a suspension of commercial imports. This has in turn led to severe food shortages and price increases.

• WFP CO is meeting with Israeli authorities to find a workable solution for the delivery of humanitarian food supplies into Gaza, which is hampered by new security measures.

As a result of additional security procedures being imposed at border crossings, since 17 January, only 20 WFP trucks have been able to deliver food supplies. The new procedures have drastically slowed WFP's ability to deliver supplies, resulting in a loss of 2 percent of cargo and additional logistics costs. WFP has been forced to suspend deliveries until a solution - promised within the next few days - can be found.

• Egyptian authorities have closed the Gaza/Egypt border, and are now urging the few remaining Palestinians at the border to return to Gaza.

• WFP has stopped distributions to 2,501 social hardship beneficiaries due to lack of wheat flour. In some parts of Gaza City and Northern Gaza social hardship case families are currently receiving a partial ration due to shortage of sugar and salt. "
