IrishRepublican.net

IrishRepublican.net is nearly one year old. Founded by a small number of republicans, the forum has been a hit both nationally and internationally. The forum has nearly 2,000 members, a huge milestone on any internet based forum. The forum has seen a lot of changes since its creation. Now, it boasts many features, such as a fully functioning media section, containing dozens of statements, news reports, interviews and more. The forum is broken down into sections; main discussion, alternative discussion, private debates section and a section for all political organisations on the Irish republican spectrum. I spoke to Admin of IrishRepublican.net and asked them the aim of the forum.
‘’We created this forum because there was nothing like it. It had been attempted before, but no forum had ever been created that was impartial. Each forum had a political agenda at the heart of the administration. We have a large team of moderators, from all political viewpoints. They are a diverse team, and work very hard to ensure the smooth-running of the forum. IrishRepublican.net is based on freedom and equality, with the ultimate aim of promoting Irish Republican and encouraging debate among fellow Irishmen and women.’’
IrishRepublican.net appeals to everyone, republican or not, to join up and debate.
