![]() When I first heard about this march a couple of weeks ago I began thinking about what people hoped to achieve. When I first heard about this march a couple of weeks ago I began thinking about what people hoped to achieve. A focusless march is usually a sign that the far left are involved in the organization. A march is a simple thing to organize, makes it appear that you are doing something and doesn’t commit you to doing anything else. And very importantly, gives various far left groups an opportunity to sell their papers and recruit members. |

Ill advised fort he reasons you have identified - the worst coverage was in the examiner saying organisers would be disappointed with less than 70,000.
I cna just imagine the DCTU standing in front of 10,000 or 20,000 people filling parnell square and spilling down O'Connell st saying they are disappointed with the turnout.
