Free screening of Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth at Liberty Hall

Wednesday 30th January, 6pm, Liberty Hall Theatre, Eden Quay, Dublin 1.
Al Gore's Oscar-winning documentary on climate change is to be shown by SIPTU on the big screen in the Liberty Hall theatre.

The bar will be open from 5.30pm. Oisín Coghlan (Director, Friends of the Earth) will be speaking for 15 minutes before the film on the choices facing Ireland. Admission is free.

Strictly speaking this showing is a private screening for SIPTU members. There are about 200,000 SIPTU members. YKWIM.

I often ask myself the same question. (Is that Friends of the Earth who have been so active on the whole Shell in Mayo issue, helping the campaign with materials, advice, and lobbying, as well as bringing people to the proposed refinery site to show solidarity with the community under siege from one of the world's biggest polluters?, oh wait now...)
