Ireland's commitment to cutting emissions is quite clear to see: Minister Gormley- build a great big incinerator (the first of many) and push another motorway through (commuters need it to get the jobs they are going to lose in the recession) and tell people they have to change the lightbulbs in their houses.

Minister Sargent- do absolutely nothing about food or agriculture (the farmers are scary), and Minister Ryan -build a huge complex of gas and oil refineries in Mayo, a few more fossil-fuel burning power stations, lots of support for the energy companies, and give some tiny amount of money to research wave power. The Power of One! Stop Climate Chaos! Burn Vegetable Oil! Support the government! Vote Green!
