Only 2 protestors at the scene. URGENT call out for numbers. Media on way. Protestors are preventing Security from entering the site. The digger is working within the Exclusion Zone. An Archaeologist is clearly to be seen working at the site thus evident that Archaeological work at Lismullin still has not been completed. This is a unique monument, an Ancient Astronomical Observatory and Ceremonial Site.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THIS OUTRAGE. Video and camera equioment needed ASAP

They moved a lot of diggers up the roads last night, and they have changed the security format from one dawdling man to a larger inept bunch. I am working in the city, but the best of luck to any who can get there.

The digger is working up where the souterrains are. Surely this is not Best Archaeologcal Practise?

Donald Murphy from ACS stated in a recorded phone call earlier that they obtained permission last Friday from the Dept. of the Environment to proceed with taking the lintel from the top of the Souterrain. He called the Digger "nothing more than a glorified bucket " and said that they needed that strength to remove it. We are awaiting pictures.

There is a lot of extra activity in Baronstown today also.

Volunteers urgently needed to reinforce numbers.

Thank you.

Some reports are being circulated about the Lismullin Henge having been destroyed last weekend or Monday morning. Can't find any information whatsoever on any of the Tara campaign groups' websites. Is this yet another attempt to cover up the inefficiency of those encamped nearby who claim to defend Tara, or what's the story?

Exactly where are these reports being circulated? This is urgent! Sources please so something can be done. Where are ye - the protesters?

Hi,
Just in case you missed this earlier article I have posted a link below. The find was made public after Protesters camped nearby obtained photographs and video evidence of the Stone and reports were given to media. The NRA would not issue a staement.
