The delusional EU believes it can wield carbon tariffs as weapons. But its grandiloquent Net Zero scheme is destined to collapse under the weight of the bloc's utter economic irrelevance, says Tilak Doshi.

The Right has spent much of the last decade railing against cancel culture, and was arguably winning the debate. It would be a mistake to abandon that position now.

Big 'welcome' for Bertie in Cork this evening

category cork | anti-capitalism | news report author Friday November 23, 2007 22:23author by Elinor - Cork shell to sea Report this post to the editors

'Corporate business' picket forced to compete with shell to sea

At around five this evening business representatives from the C.C.C. (Corporate Consolidation Campaign) on arriving at City Hall Cork were dismayed to find members of Shell to Sea were there competing for the attentions of their beloved hero An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.

The C.C.C. quickly rallied however and waving placards demanding 'Protect our right to pollute' , 'we want more' , 'natural resources mine all mine' , and 'profit not people' they sang rousing refrains of 'we love Bertie, well done Bertie five more years'

A while later Bertie emerged from City Hall and was husssled through the' adoring' crowd at top speed. To the embarressment of the FF supporters and minders present one prominent C.C.C. member grasped Berties hand and treated him to a heartfelt tirade of appeciation for all he was doing for corperate interests, while others gave him less appreciative messages !

After Berties escape the C.C.C. took to the streets for a 'Love Bertie' parade around the city, much to the appreciation of the people of Cork who grasped the Irony far quicker than Berties minders, the branch, cops, and general lackies !
