Shell to Sea picket Donnybrook Shell Station this Wednesday

category dublin | anti-capitalism | news report author Sunday November 04, 2007 16:19author by UCD - UCD Shell to Seaauthor email ucdshelltosea at gmail dot com Report this post to the editors

The UCD Shell to Sea campaign have organised a public picket for this Wednesday 7th of November at the Donnybrook Shell Station at 5pm.

We would ask all those free that evening to come out and display solidarity with the people of Erris this Wednesday. If you are coming from town the 46A bus of the 10 will bring you there

Good to see something coming in the wake of the successful picketing of the Shell recrutiment talk and the visit of Ryan to the campus..
Hopefully these events will encourage a large number of UCD students to travel down to Rossport on the 9th,just as they did this time last year when a full bus travelled from the campus.
Onwards!

What does 'pers cap' mean?

author by Starstruckpublication date Mon Nov 05, 2007 16:16author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Means "Personal Capacity",ie., that you are speaking individually and not necessarily on behalf of an organisation you're a member of..
Force of habit really--

If anyone has placards can they bring them out to the protest on Wednesday?

thanks

Cheers Starstruck - best wishes for the action to all. Shell will find this one won't go away.
