The Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle was published by the Zapatistas from the mountains of Chiapas in June ‘05. It poses a series of questions about the forms of resistance to global capitalism and the ambitions of alternative social movements.

Who are we? How do we see the country we’re in?
Where have we come from? What do we want to change?
How do we see the world around us? How do we want to do it?

Since then it has been used as the basis for a multitude of groups involved in the social struggle in Mexico and globally, to join together in reflection and action - ‘The Other Campaign’
