Thirty Left-wing MPs have written to Ofcom to press it to censor X under the Online Safety Act. The evidence of 'hate' on the platform is threadbare, but it's obvious why they want to clip its wings, says Laurie Wastell.

Promoted by the Socialist Worker Party – the SWP –in Cork.

The SWP is a Worldwide socialist party that takes both a very local and global outlook. It is fighting for justice both here in Ireland and on our planet. It is trying to bring an end to poverty, deprivation, homelessness, inequality, racism, environmental destruction and chaos and so many other horrible realties of the life and the planet that we all live in and share. It is also trying to introduce, among many other things, proper health care and education to the inhabitants of our planet. In Ireland alone 27,000 people await hospital beds, many lie on trolleys in hospital corridors, and many await such things as serious heart operations. And as the founder of the Jack & Jill foundation put it on the Late Late the other night, “if you are not born with five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot, then God love ya”. As in Ireland the State will basically do little or nothing for ya. This foundation was voluntarily setup up and is voluntarily funded to “try” and fill the void in the nearly total lack of care for those born with brain disorders such as Cerebral Palsy. Similarly the Samaritans, whom, we all know, are again a voluntary organization set up to fill the void of State care for those who suffer from depression, suicide, loneliness etc.

Please support the SWP tonight to both tackle these issues and have a great time!

Please spread the word and try and bring your friends! Thank you!

So Many Thanks!
