Daly / Mc Namee Cumann call for Boycott of Israeli Goods.

West Belfast based Daly/McNamee Cumann of the IRSP have today called for the people of West Belfast to join with them in the boycotting of Israeli goods it has emerged.

IRSP spokesperson for the area, Charlie Clarke, has today called for an immediate boycott of products from Israel in response to the ongoing illegal war against the working classes of Lebanon.

“The Daly / Mc Namee cumann of the IRSP call for the immediate boycotting of Israeli products as a response to the murderous war being waged against the innocent working classes of Lebanon by the terrorist state of Israel” Mr. Clarke stated.

“We call upon all the residents and local businesses of West Belfast to join with us in this boycott of Israeli sourced products. The sickening images portrayed around the world of this illegal war and the devastation and death that this has brought to the thousands of innocent civilians of Lebanon should not go unchallenged. The decent people of West Belfast have witnessed first hand for thirty-seven years the death and destruction that these war mongering nations can bring upon a country, and should not tolerate this injustice against the Lebanese people.”

He went on to add, “People must see this war for what it is. It is an American / Israeli orchestrated campaign of terror against an innocent people. The Hezbollah are a democratically elected organisation representative of the oppressed people of Lebanon with MP’s and Cabinet ministers. They attacked a military target in response to the ongoing kidnappings of Palestinian citizens from their beds by the Israeli government and their military special forces. The disproportionate response from Israel in the targeting of the civilian populations of Lebanese towns and villages in relentless air raids and land assaults must be condemned without reservation. The people of West Belfast must join with us in this condemnation and show the world that we will not tolerate this state terrorism by boycotting Israeli products. The IRSP support unequivocally the working class people of Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon in their struggle against alien occupation.”
