Tara Solidarity Vigil - official statement

There will be a Procession at Tara on Wednesday 2nd August to bring the flame out from the Vigil Fire which has been burning continuously since the Summer Solstice.
This sacred Flame is being offered to all individuals and groups who wish to carry it forward, with the intention of protecting Tara Valley.
This Flame has witnessed healing and reconciliation, and we hope it will continue to be a symbol of Solidarity between all those who care about Tara.

Please assemble in the car park at 7pm.
All are welcome to visit the Vigil Fire at any time.

i've recently had a text from someone who's at the camp at tara (which has been ongoing since the summer solstice in an effort to draw attention to the fact that a dual-tolled motorway will shortly be constructed through this, ireland's premier heritage site).
the camp badly needs our support. at the moment they are in need of the following:

a bowsaw,
poliprop rope 10 or 12 mil thickness,
rainwear gear,
and nails big and small

i'm hoping that some of you who are based around the dublin area can help with this as it will be much easier for ye to get to the camp then for us down in cork. anything you can do to help will be appreciated. thanks :)
