Sundown over Fatima
Final ceremony
Final goodbye
I was fortunate to live on the door step of Fatima in the early 90’s to experience the community spirit and friendship that was extended to me (never ran short of fruit and veg!). Hopefully this herald’s a new epoch for the people of Fatima after the damage drugs inflicted during the 80’s. My best wishes to the community for the future.
R.I.P.
Ye have yerselves to thank for the huge change brought to your own community, and for forcing Dublin City Council to work with you instead of passing over your interests. It's a model that hopefully others will study and learn from.
your wonderful images with indymedia.
There are so many stories to be told about the changing face of community existance......The visual representation is a vital element to this. The story of Fatima goes on as the entire community is being redeveloped. The entire area of Rialto and Dolphin's barn is being built up. This has impacted on the
community garden which will also be redeveloped.
