Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9Me like the rest of the Irish poeple are not fooled by this bullshit.
McKevitt and his associates are nothing moore than dissident sumbags who do not represent the people. They are wannabes.
I think we would all be a lot safer if characters like this were locked up and we threw away the key. Funny how someone who shows so little respect for other people's right to life bleats such a lot about his own legal position.... Irony is lost on him.
perhaps padraig could tell us why Marcella Sands is a wannabe ?
a peculiarly sinn fein expression .
Nobody mentioned her but you and the other dissidents.
Her name is brought up by dissidents simply because she was a sister of Bobby Sands.
Her brother was a great man and she should not be used by the dissidents to try and link her brother to her, then her to them, therefore creating an illusion that Bobby Sands is connected to the dissidents. This has been going on for some years and it is a disgrace.
The people who were involved in the struggle in 1981 are still there in the same movement. Their comrades who fell will never be forgotten, and their families deserve respect to not be used as supporters of one group or another.
The dissidents are controlled by a minority of selfish individuals only creating publicity for themselves.
The dissidents will desist and Sinn Féin will advance to a United Ireland.
Perhaps Sean can outline how MI5 activity in Ireland will lead Sinn Fein onto a United Ireland given their cosy relationship and all that?
It appears Sean that you are as big an idiot as your friend Padraig . Ive mentioned Marcella Sands simply because she is a leading member of the campaign to highlight the frame up of Michael McKevitt . Had you even bothered reading the website you would know this . But you obviouisly havent .
Your freind also claims that what Bobby Sands sister Marcella is saying is " bullshit" and that he isnt fooled by it . Not to mention describing her as a "wannabe" . Her and other people involved in this campaign such as Fr Des Wilson and Fr Joe McVeigh .
Ill quote from Marcellas Sands speech to the NGO conference .
“Monsignor, Reverend Fathers, Ladies and
Gentlemen I would like to thank you all for coming
today. I know you have busy schedules and it is
much appreciated that you have taken the time
to attend today.
My name is Marcella Sands, I am the sister of
Bobby Sands and sister-in-law of Michael McKevitt.
I would like to make it clear that I am speaking on behalf of the Sands and McKevitt families and not any political party or organisation. We are purely interested in justice for Michael who has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on the word of a paid Supergrass.
What is taking place today is not only the launch of my booklet “The Framing of Michael McKevitt” but also the launch of ‘The Michael McKevitt Campaign for Justice.’ To enable us to reach as many people as possible we have set up a web site to let the people of Ireland and the rest of the world know of the calculated campaign of injustices that have been orchestrated against Michael and his family.
I would now like to introduce you to our panel of highly esteemed people who for many years have campaigned against political injustices - Monsigner Raymond Murray, Fr. Desmond Wilson, Ms. Noelle Ryan, Fr. Joseph McVeigh, also Michael’s daughter Carol and of course my sister Bernadette. In addition to the panel, Michael’s family and my family are here today to lend their support to our campaign. "
So you and your friend are insulting 3 of the most respected human rights campaigners in the north for the last 35 years , one of the most hadworking and respected community workers in West Belfast and the entire family of Bobby Sands . Why ??
Because all these people are campaigning against a frame up by MI5 , garda Special Branch and the use of a lying supergrass
Yis are some boys and a walking advertisement as to how far Sinn Fein have gone down the path of collaboration if thats your attitude . Thankfully there are many decent members of Sinn Fein still who dont share your bile .
wannabes indeed . You dont know the first thing about what 1981 was about with a stinking attitude like that .
.
Some of the above comments come for PSNI HQ.
Sean, do you know the meaning of irony?
The Provisional Movement blasphemes all that for which Bobby Sands stood. No amount of revisionist spin or childish name-calling will change that fact.
The campaign to free McKevit should be supported - it has nothing got do with whether his views should be supported. He was railroaded, set up and is a victim of injustice.
The posters above who are appearing or seeming to be supporters of Sinn Fein are nothing of the sort. They are trolls or cops trying to derail activists from concentrating on the real issues. They plague Indymedia. Ignore them.
