Lost Leaders

A picture of awesome indecency is about to hit news-stands across Europe today.
Big Swinging Mickey Mc Dowell & the Mammy Harney having a snog on the Irish Independent.
Thats thier way of portraying a united party after Michael tried like many before to belt in the girth of Harney's ambition. The party that gave us FF coalition governments and put the squeeky clean into FF slime. The worst ministers of Justice & Health in the history of the state.
At the same time we hear of FF backbenchers marching on Bertie's office to demand their concerns be addressed...( all of a sudden they have concerns... ) That means they've started worrying about thier seats facing the implosion of the next general election.
consenting adults (the felatio & cunnilingus of 2/6/06 behind them now)
consenting adults (the felatio & cunnilingus of 2/6/06 behind them now)

It's summer, and the two segments of society that enjoy summer the most are school-children and professional politicians. Its been a good summer for the politicians so far, only the emergency legislation on what constitutes rape of a school-child 2/6/06 thwarted thier relaxing & well-renumerated break.

So what are they really up to?

I argue its quite simple. It has nothing to do with the "trustees" of the PD's or even its leadership, or even the "arrogance" of FF ministers (whom generally keep well out of attention). Its all about "taking the temperature of the grassroot party member's feelings" ahead of the "transfer of power". Those humble cumann members who will stick up the posters and shove the propaganda in doorways.
Its an internal party political exercise which the FF ard-fheis provided by the funeral of CJ Haughey could not be thought to have done.

These people in government now, are the most complacent, mediocre, shallow generation who have ever held the responsibilities of state. We know that. We've articulated it well. We don't even hope for much better next time either..,

My advice to you all is to ignore them, don't give them attention.
In fact - I don't know why I bothered writing the article.
