offsite link Trump Was Right to Skewer Starmer Over Britain?s ?Windmills Scam? Wed Jul 30, 2025 07:00 | Ben Pile
Trump was right to skewer Starmer over Britain's "windmills scam" when he met him in Scotland this week, says Ben Pile. It was a cringefest worthy of The Office, but Starmer can't afford to ignore the President?s warning.

The Wheelocks' story

A 50min video featuring an interview with Larry and Esther Wheelock as tell the tragic story of the loss of their brother and son Terence, in the hands of the state and also documentation of the ongoing Garda intimidation the family are now subject to. Stills from this documentary were used in the recent issue of the Village Magazine reporting the attack on the Wheelock home by members of An Garda Síochána.

The video is being screened in the Digital Hub Warehouse on Thomas St, D8 (beside McGruder's pub on left hand side as you walk from town to Jame's Gate brewery) as part of the NCAD MA degree show, opening Friday 9th June at 6pm and running until the 18th June. The exhibition is open to the public from 10am to 5pm on Sat 10th; 2pm - 5pm on Sun 11, 10am - 5pm thereafter until Sun 18th when it's open from 2pm - 8pm.
Alongside the video are sculptural responses to injustice and a collection of research on issues of justice, injustice and corruption. The video will be played on a 50min loop but you may ask the artist or invigilator to start the movie again if you wish to watch from the beginning.

Note; the opening night is probably not the best time to view the video given the considerable numbers expected to the show.
