Voicing concerns about grooming gangs is a "dog-whistle", a "little trumpet" and jumping "on a bandwagon of the far Right". That's what Labour really thinks, says Andrew Doyle, and voters will not be forgiving.

Community Gardening @ Saint Joseph's National School, Barry Avenue, Finglas 6 p.m.

We had an enjoyable evening in the new garden at Saint Joseph's National School last Wednesday. Seven gardeners were there enjoying the sun, the craic and the earth.

Next Wednesday we have the opportunity to publicise the garden at a plant sale organised by DCC in Saint Joseph's school. This is being held between 6 p.m. & 8p.m. and we hope to hand out fliers and meet some potential locals who would like to garden communally.

So on Wednesday 31st there will be people outside the school gardening and people inside the school doing some publicity and maybe picking up a few plants for the garden.

Get a bus to Finglas Village (any of the 40s A to D from Parnell St. are quickest; also the 19, 19A on O'Connell St. or the 83). Then take Seamus Ennis Road and Mellowes Road and turn right at the roundabout and follow the map.

At present the Finglas Community Garden is using the Dolphin's Barn Garden email list; a separate mailing list will be set up in June. Watch this space for details!!

It is possible to take both the 40 and the 40A buses from Parnell Street directly to the Finglas Community Garden. Just get off the bus at Barry Road near the Cappagh House pub. St. Joseph's Girls' School is on the right on Barry Avenue.
