Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

A total of 450 items are being put on sale in the auction, including the first known version of the national anthem and the tricolour that flew over the GPO during the Rising.
The two Ogra Sinn Féin members managed to infiltrate the crowd at the auction and shouted "Irish history should not be for sale" as one of the items was sold.

http://www.indymedia.ie/article/75397
A minimum of four people, not two, got onto the auction floor and others were stopped outside.
One of the people arrested was a member of Ógra Shinn Féin and one a member of Sinn Féin.
Gardaí were not set upon as they left but rather forced their way through a peaceful picket that had been taking place outside. During this there were scuffles and two members of Ógra Shinn Féin were slightly injured.
Both men who were arrested have now been released.

'Protest at Independence Auction Claimed Irish History is Not for Sale'
A protest was held at James Adam & Sons and Mealy's Auctioneers today at 11.30am by TaraWatch and Ogra Sinn Fein, who claimed that "Irish history is not for sale".
While both groups planned their demonstrations separately, we were both protesting the sale of hugely important items of Ireland's national heritage, such as a draft of the national anthem, the flag that flew over the GPO in 1916, and an original copy of the Proclamation of Independence.
We were also protesting the lack of interest shown by the Government in purchasing these items. The auctioneers have stated that there has been no interest shown by the Government, despite criticism by the Director of the National Museum, who said that the Government should purchase the items.
Two members of Ogra Sinn Fein were arrested by for disrupting the event. A number of others stood in front of the door, despite a large Garda presence, including the Garda helicopter.
Vincent Salafia, who was present, said:
"While I am not a member of any party, I salute the actions taken today by these patriotic youths, who did nothing more than exercise their civic duty to protect our national assets.
"This Government is happy to stand down and let these massively important items, which belong to all citizens, to go into private hands and possibly leave the country.
"It comes as no surprise, as this is the same Government that is selling off parts of the Hill of Tara to rivate toll road and commercial property developers.
"Everything is for sale. They know the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Wheres Our Mates Ya Blueshirts?
The opening of a major auction of Easter Rising memorbilia has been disrupted by protesters
Demonstrators gathered at John Adam`s Auctioneers in Dublin, concerned that historical items would be snapped up by foreign buyers.
Among the items to go under the hammer is the first manuscript of the Irish anthem, Amhrán na bhFiann and the tricolour that flew from the General Post Office during the Easter Rising.
As the hammer came down on the first item, there was a commotion.
Two protesters, who tried to disrupt the auction, were bundled out of the building by two Gardai and arrested.

Easter Rising
The auctioning off of Easter Rising memorabilia
The news I receive from Ireland continues to dismay me and break my heart! Recently, I hear that the memorabilia left from the 1916 Easter Rising is to be auctioned today! My dear soul, to think that these men who brought about the freedom that the Republic of Ireland “enjoys” to this very day are not to be remembered in a museum, but rather to be bandied about in the private collection of goodness knows who! And to what purpose? Where are the funds going to be used? Will it be to the good of the Irish for whom these men of yesteryear gave their lives? I think not! To quote from the very distinguished Padraig Henry Pearse:
Mise Eire (I Am Ireland)
“I am Ireland
I am older than the Old Woman of Bearra,
Great is my glory,
I who gave birth to
Cuchulain the brave,
Great is my shame,
My own family
Have sold their mother.
I am Ireland,
I am lonelier than the
Old Woman of Bearra.”
And again:
"We know of only one definition of freedom; it is Tone's definition, it is Mitchel's definition, it is Rossa's definition. Let no man blaspheme the cause that the dead generations of Ireland served, by giving it any other name and definition other than their name and their definition."
-- Padraig Pearse

While I might not be an officiando of Sinn Feins politics I admire the direct action stance being taken by Ogra.
As Anarchists we believe lobbying the bureaucracy is a waste of time and energy and disempowers activists and the community at large.
So well done to Ogra on continuing to keep up direct actions against Bertie and the bullshitters-with the 1916 commemorations looming large, and direct actions planned,we hope to see you all there exposing the Governments anti-imperialist facade.
Oh and cynical-armchair expertise will never get you anywhere,if you have a more effective way of tackling these issues ,lets have you,one-sided criticism is worthless.

Direct Action for the sake of it.
Oh and don't forget the free publicity.
Sounds like a sensible plan to me.
I'm sorry to say I am not surprised this government showed no interest in these auction items. The hypocracy of this new found interest by Bertie in commemorating 1916 while at the same time being unable to find just 3 million to protect our history is shameful and embarassing to say the very least. My question is why aren't other political representatives speaking out about this, why did they standing idly by and allow this to happen???
As the Provisionals/M15 have sold out on the principles of 1916, and have administered British rule in Ireland through the Northern Assembly, and are currently demanding that HMG allow them to readminister it, is it not a bit of a nonsense to be complaining about selling of historical items.
Surely the defence of the Republic and and the implementation of the Democratic Programme of the First Dail are the key principles to be followed.
In the same way as the baby Provisionals /MI5 let off stink bombs last week when protesting about the Health Service, when their grown up collegues got the opportunity to act as British Ministers in Ireland they had no propblem in implementing Public -Private Partnerships in Health and Education and in closing Hospitals.
"If only a few are faithful found, they must be the more steadfast for being but a few. They stand for an individual right that is inalienable. One man alone may vindicate it, and because that one man has never failed it has never died". Mac Sweeney

restrain the guy maybe don't try and punch him once he's already got two guys on him???
That was assault, it was not defense and it is inexcusable. It was disgraceful that a so called "reputable" company like Adams have an employee who on national televison assaulted a young member of the public who was restrained. It was also extremely cowardly aswell, I doubt the man would have punched the Ogra activist if he hadn't been restrained by others. Hopefully the Ogra member will press charges of assault against this fella. People should contact the auctioneers and complain about this.

"A heritage campaigner last night slammed the Irish government’s failure to purchase 1916 historic items at a major Dublin auction yesterday..
"However, Vincent Salafia, who has been one of the leading members of the campaign to save the Hill of Tara, last night claimed there was a connection between the Tara campaign and yesterday’s auction.
“Of course there is a connection, it is the same government involved that does not care about this country’s heritage,” Mr Salafia said.
“The situation here for us is that the government is selling of parts of the Hill of Tara to a private tolling company.
“They are selling off something that is fundamental to all our history.
“And what we had at the auction is the government sitting idly by, while some of the most important historical artefacts from our history are sold into private and foreign hands.
“Both situations show the government allowing our heritage that belongs to us all going into the private open market.”
Mr Salafia took part in a protest yesterday outside Dublin auctioneers, James Adam & Sons against the auction......
