Taylor Swift has produced an album so bad it's making everyone notice how bad the other ones are. It only goes to show, says Prof James Alexander, that no one remains of interest musically once they hit 30.

Stardust website and petition launched

category international | crime and justice | news report author Monday March 13, 2006 10:55author by Malachy Steenson - Stardust Justiceauthor email malachysteenson at yahoo dot com Report this post to the editors

The Lawlor family have launch their campaing to have Eamon Butterly charge with the murder of 2 of the family in the Stardust Fire in 1981

The Lawlor family whose brother Francis and his wife Maureen were killed in the fire in the Stardust on Valentines night 1981 have launched a website to highlight their campaign. They have also launched a petition which can be accessed from thier web site.

The petition demands that the DPP charge Eamon Butterly the man identified in the report of the tribunal as being responsible for locking the exits with murder. The Lawlor family believes that the locking of the doors is the main cause of death.

They are asking that as many people as possible sign the petition, they are seeking one million signatures. The Petition is preasently on line and will in the near future be brought out in a manual form.

What relationship does this site have to the main campaign? It's a personal petition by the Lawlor family. And the site is very poor and not ready to go live, with lots of placeholder "texty, texty, text..", option2, option 3 from the design template, etc, and tons of absolute URLs pointing to C; drives, rather than relative ones.

It's a misrepresentation. Plus calling for a murder charge is ludicrous. At most manslaughter would be the charge....

As is clearly stated on the web site, it is still under construction. So nit picking in this regard is a bit of a nonsence. The Lawlor family are intitled to pursue their campaign in whatever way they see fit.

In relation to what you refer to a the main campaign members of the Lawlor family have been on the Maxol picket every night since it started showing their support. Have you?

We believe that Butterly is guilty of murder again nitpicking as to whether we describe it as murder or manslaughter is also a nonsense. Whether it is murder or manslaughter is we would suggest a matter for a jury to determine.

Whats your agenda Gay?

1) Unfortunately for you, the web has moved on well past this "under construction" bollocks being acceptable about 10 years ago.

"Users have always been intolerant of downtime and crashes. As one of my very first Web test users said, "if a site doesn't work, I may give it a second chance; if it still doesn't work, I am never going back." Users also felt that "under construction" signs were disrespectful of their time." (Nielsen)

It's unacceptable as a user experience - and don't give us any guff about it being acceptable to die of asyphixiation either. Fix it.
2) Get your text read by a lawyer before you prejudice any case against anyone with a plainly stupid demand.

Protest all you want outside - deal with the issues on your website.

Gay,

I should think you are either stupid, extremely insensitive or both. Who do you think you are to tell families who have suffered for 25years how to pursue justice and how to deal with their pain and grief?? It is totally up to individuals themselves to decide what is the best course of action. As the majority of sane people believe, its disgusting that these decent and genuine people have been abandoned over the years. I am sure words from you are nothing to people who will fight for what they believe in but I would just like to say that it is disgusting that you would be so cruel. And lastly the lawlor family have been outside at these pickets with representatives from the Stardust Committee. There should not be any difficulty with one family wanting to nail butterely for what he has done and also for the hurt he continues to do. If one way doesnt work then the other just might.

Gay you have not answered the question. Have you been outside on the picket line? Talk about nonsense! Your comments are the greatest nonsense of all. Support the petition.
