Corporates without Kindness and Compassion

category national | crime and justice | news report author Wednesday January 04, 2006 15:33author by Michelle Clarke - Social Justice and Ethics Report this post to the editors

Eircom belonged to the people of Ireland....it was sold to a select few and now it is hoping that

a Swiss Company will buy them out and pay the cosy cartel of directors and elites large sums of money.....question is do they pay adequate tax in Ireland if they can't learn to grasp grassroots disabilitities issues

Corporate power minus social responsibility at Christmas time on a one to one basis.....

Ireland has become a two tier society but the fun part is that you can fall from one tier to the other very nicely.

For me it was combination of a horsefall, Anxiety and being Bipolar.....this throws in its wake accumulated fears and phobias, some which are substantiated by the illness iteself.

I learn every time I remember to go back to the library that it is about the best place to get of whatever muddle I have landed myself.

Christmas. I will not bore you. However Eircom, without warning cut off my supply. I use the net mainly to express myself and to prop up by Alzheimers memory with colour and the exceptional. I have explained this over two years to many including the ComReg regulators; the Monopolies Commission.

Nobody understands reads or listens or else I am totally obscure in my language.

I have found time passing solves most. 2 years ago my bill became so high when I supposedly got broadband that I wrote and just before Christmas I picked up an leaflet from ConReg talking about the problem of double billing. This is what I thought happened two years ago re. my system and nobody has acted.

Can someone help a person, who wrtites a lot and needs interaction with the screen and worse again who is agoraphobic......fear, rear ridden.......t5o put pressure on corporate power witha questionable history.

I have overcome the fear four times to use the phone.......one person when I explained referred to them deciding not to cut it off in July as I was a Social Welfare recipient smugly......I suggested I would have preferred them to act in July and not at a lonely time like Christmas......

I often meet Brendan Kennelly walking the roads and I did yesterday. He spoke on a TV show about retirement and adjustment and the word of significance for him being a different rhythm........Yes, what a lovely way of looking at getting older. I said to him 'go with it' forget the time as I had at the age of 32......

The Eircom suggested if I lived in Dublin and knew the property owner with telephone connections there to go and tell him.

How sad certain experierences of life are so futile to the new rich

Can someone help me? I have nobody ...... I have an appointment with the social worker but realise just how busy she will be after Christmas.

All the best for 2006
