CIA flights in Europe round-up

category international | crime and justice | news report author Friday November 18, 2005 12:30author by iosaf Report this post to the editors

quick round up of accusations against the CIA in europe and the location of those unknown camps which everyone knows aren't in
P-o-l-a-n-d
or
R-o-m-a-n-i-a.

Anyone asks you, you know what to say.
"they're not in Poland or Romania".

For plane spotters, here are the registration numbers of the flights in question. Please note they have gone through Shannon. Please note also, that these flights are using "diplomatic immunity" to evade control, in the process breaching sovreignty of nuetral nations and insulting allies of NATO. It has gone beyond the stage of the benefit of the doubt. These flights are not transporting "tippy toppy interpreters on call".
"The big one" - Boeing 737-(N313P &/or N4476S)
"the little fast ones" -
Gulfstream v - N379P,N8068V-
Gulfstream iv -N85VM, N227SV-

This story is growing and growing as one by one each european state adds their little bit to the jigsaw.
Spain has now officially complained through its supreme court to the USA over CIA use of airports on the islands of mallorca, ibiza and canarias for a period of one year 2004-2005. It is still unclear whether the current director general of the spanish secret service(CNI) will speak to the parliament about this matter, but the CNI have communicated with the press confirming that they had told the CIA _to stop_ using their airports.

Sweden has identified CIA traffic at Stockholm, d'Örebro et de Malmö over a period of 3 years 2002-2005.

Norway likewise has offered details on a Gulfstream III jet which flew from Oslo to Paris on the 20th of july 2005.

Iceland has proferred details on 67 CIA flights since 2001 using both Boeing and Gulfstream V aircraft.

Lithuania has confirmed CIA use of its airspace a dozen times between 2001 and 2003 but denies any landings.

Estonia sighted the notorious Boeing N313P at Talin airport on the 11th of January 2003.

Latvia has admitted CIA have used their airspace but like Lithuania deny any landings, all 3 baltic states deny the existance of a blacklist camp on their territory.

Germany has a case open for the illegal transfer on the 17th Feb 2003 of Abou Omar via Italy from Egypt. His is a clear case of kidnapping, and the flight touched down at a USAF base.
In addition Germany want explanations for the case of Khaled el-Masri a german citizen, who was kidnapped by the CIA, on the border of Serbia and FYR Macedonia on the 31st december 2003. Khaled el-Masri was flown via Mallorca on board "the big one" Boeing 737 N313P to an unknown destination, and then after a month brought back to the border of Serbia in a gulfstream and released...

Portugal has identified both Boeing and gulfstreams at the airports of Porto in the north and Tires near Lisbon.

Romania continues to deny the presence of a camp in its territory.

"the big one" Boeing 737 N313P (dubbed the Guantanamo express by Human Rights watch) touched down in Mallorca on the 22nd of September 2003 and then was seen in Szymany airport Poland the next day, and the day after in Mihail Kogalniceanu, Romania.

They put it pretty much like this :-

"no-one likes us, we had the worst orphanages in europe, and the kdis that grew up there beg on your streets and you want to fine them 1500€ for it, and send them home to us, and we still haven't got any money for the bird flu, the flooding or the pollution clean-up. There is no, repeat NO! illegal CIA prison camp at Mihail-Kogalniceanu former military installation on the Black Sea coast".

got that?

no prison in mihail-kogalniceanu.

good.
