the "report back and exhibition" that has arisen from the city ocuncils discussions with the local community of "dolphins barn neighbourhood including st. teresa's gardens & the area bounded by donore avenue, the grand canal & dolphins barn street."

this is from the october 2005 newsletter, as far as i know there were 2 consultation periods with locals who put forward their ideas, a firm from the uk came over to oversee the process

the proposal proposes that
"5- consider redevelopment of the white heather industrial estate and existing redundant canalside lnad to provide a more attractive frontage and better access to the canal for local residents"
there is very little comment on eco/ sustainable initiaves, no mention of the garden and a bridge is proposed right where we have the garden, therefor i think its essential that people could get down to this event
