Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9It is high time that RSF Cork made some public statement on the recruitment policies of the CIRA in Cork.
How about calling for suspension or disbandment until the following policy is put in place.
1 No drug dealers
2 No criminals
3 No spacers, bullies and thugs
By the way no sympathy for those terrorist ships in the harbour, but until something broad is organised beyond SF or RSF they'll keep coming.
in WW1 was to station naval vessels at Cork to protect merchant and other shipping.
When the war ended today, 87 years ago -
126,000 Americans were dead and 234,300 wounded, but the US official figures, given April 1, 1920 read: 35,560 killed in action; 14,720 died of wounds; 57,460 died of disease; 7,920 died of other causes; 205,690 wounded; 46 missing; 4,480 prisoners. The majority were afro-american
& had had no civil rights before their war
and fought in segregated units.
Any Idea what "Warships" these are? Are they actual warships or HM customs vessels(who often visit cork and display the Red ensign, but are unarmed), or are they Fisheries Protection vessels?
Did they Participate in the War in Iraq or is RSF whining merely because they are british?
Thanks for the Heads up though. I now have something to do on a saturday.
Heckling the barstoolers.(should be an olympic sport)
maybe youd be better off with a girlfriend though . more fun than heckling .
My wife may have a problem with that.
How dissapointed I was that these "warships" were little more than fishery protection vessels. I guess, as I suspected the real issue that irked the "protestors" was the presence of the National flag of our european neighbours.
By the way. It there a lower age limit on protestors? Todays shower had an average age of about 7.
Who are these "free state forces"?
Do the Guardians of our republic(declared in 1948), The Garda Siochana, know that armed personell from this mythical "free state" were engaged in protecting foreign warships on Irish soil?
Do the Peoples republic of cork have their own security force perhaps?
Or is it a band of recreationists who wear the uniforms of the Gardai and army of the emergency, when Ireland was indeed a "free state", who also provide security to the Royal Navy on special occasions? How decent of them.
You went the whole way to see a tiny little protest that you object to ? Your wife must be glad to have you out of the house for a morning . And there really must be damn all else to do on a Saturday in Cork
And our neighbours that you like so much , as opposed to your fellow countrymen you dislike so much , just happen to occupy part of this country with their nasty little flag which many people throughout the world dislike also . Legitimate grounds for a protest in my opinion .
ALL of us should be against the presence of British troops in our country including those in the occupied six counties. What is wrong with people that when they criticise the U.S occupation of Iraq they don't seem to criticise the british occupation of Northern Ireland. Folks, the military bases still exist, there are still watchtowers and cameras. Often, the british military helicopters fly over our side of the so called 'border'. Republicans are only campaigning for a re-united Ireland and it would be nicer to see the Island united rather than divided.
There were no british troops in cork.
They did not invade the city..
A flag is a piece of cloth with pretty colours.
The war is over. Isn't that what Uncle Gerry said?

There were no british troops in cork.
How do you know , did you observe the comings and goings from the ship as keenly as you observed your fellow Irishmen who protested against it .
They did not invade the city..
No , but they burnt it down once and murdered its Lord Mayor and Irish people still had to pay them reparations . They occupy a number of other Irish cities and towns . From the 1970s onwards they murdered hundreds of Irish people , including bombing them in Dublin .
A flag is a piece of cloth with pretty colours.
So is a swastika
The war is over. Isn't that what Uncle Gerry said?
Uncle Gerry says he was never an IRA volunteer as well so what the fuck would he know . Britains occupation isnt over so I dont see how a campaign against it will ever be .
Stop living in the past.
Britain is the country running round occupying other peoples countries supposedly to civilise them .
Support the only army of this state.
This states army does not defend the Irish nation , nor is this state the Irish nation

they can wear their mammies knickers on their head for all the use they are .
