The majority of the Irish people have no problem whatsoever with the colour of a person - this includes me. The reason we voted yes in such large numbers was to stop the mass abuse of our immigration system by West African's and to a certain extent eastern Europeans - i.e black and white. The colour of a persons skin does not come into it as far as I am concerned. Every other Country in the EU changed its citizenship rules - all we did was follow their actions.
80% of the those who voted in a 26 county referendum voted for a change in the constitution...

Can I ask you how you've dealt with the occupation of your country by a foreign power in the North of ireland, the use of this island as a military transit route by the USA and the redirection of the material wealth of the nation into the coffers of multi-nationals..?
