AI is a distraction from what it means to be truly human, says Dr David Bell. We should aim for far greater things, find again the vastness of the jewelled sky and the light that only shines in another's eye.

When a man in Dublin stabs a police officer while shouting "Allahu Akbar" you can be pretty sure it's not the work of an indigenous Irishman. So why are the media at pains to pretend it is, asks Andrew Devine.

Generally I would welcome any solidarity action. I think that we should look twice at Sinn Féin's motives. I think that their right wing leaders would not tolerate this for one moment if it were not for electoral considerations in Mayo in 2007. Those pictures will look good on a manifesto in Mayo or anywhere they need a bit of left cover. It should be noted on this thread that Sinn Féin take money off capitalists. Remember the £5000 from Coca-Cola? They want a capitalist united Ireland where the rule of profit will continue.

Ogra SF are doing something positive and useful. The suspicions that you raise above would have more weight if they came from someone that was doing something as positive as they are. Given that we don't know who you are it's a reasonable assumption that you're either a Shell/Statoil hack paid to smear SF or else a partisan, sectarian political opponent that dares not reveal their party affiliation. Whichever it is Ogra SF come out looking really good in comparison to you. Keep it up!
