Last week, Maiken Larsen interviewed a visitor from Rome who had just found out about the fascist attacks on the social centre there. Cops took two hours to arrive, and collusion suspected.
This morning, Friday (9-10 a.m.), Maiken interviews an irish woman who's just come back from making radio documentaries in Bolivia (to be broadcast on Near FM over the summer), and another Irish-woman on the dangerous toxins emitted by plastics and detergents which are not being addressed by the corporate sector.
I'd put it as a new Events post if i'd more details, but it was great listening to the live broadcast yesterday.
think the time is right for an indymedia workshop on free audio software distribution, the workings of the imc-radio network and collaboration with other audio heads; getting their material online and hopefully getting more imc-stuff onto local community based radio

this idea was muted at the forum and i just see on rte. news that the speed change is coming in due to cyclists deaths..
