Facilitating community based sustainable waste management and exploring local job creation and enterprise through recycling is a major challenge in moving us towards healthy communities. This interactive session will feature four short presentations by Sheena McCambley from the Ballymun Rediscovery Centre, Bernie Walsh from Sunflower Recycling, Mary O'Reilly from MCOS and a representative from the UK Community Recycling Network. These will be followed with discussion on how communities can tap into the potential of creating wealth and jobs from waste.
