World Kindness Day may have passed you by. But it won't have passed by your children, whose school will have been sure to teach that climate action and open borders are essential elements of 'kindness', says Steven Tucker.

Read what happened when an Extinction Rebellion meeting was disrupted by a protester. Seems they can give it out but have no intention of putting up with it themselves.

Are the Grooming Gangs a Muslim Phenomenon? Fri Nov 21, 2025 15:00 | Mark Durie
First they were 'Asian' grooming gangs, then 'Pakistani'. But the most important thing to grasp is that almost all of them ? 87% of convictions ? are Muslim, says Mark Durie. This must not be covered up.

Christmas on the dole, an unwelcome present for journalists at Lá, the Irish language daily newspaper.
http://www.eurolang.net/news.asp?id=4862
A campaign mounted by various Unionist MPs and Lords against public funding for Lá and it's publishers, the Andersonstown News Group, has forced the paper to make two full-time journalists and four part-time correspondents redundant. The paper has also had to revert to a four day rather than a five day print run to try to ride out the crisis.
Lá deputy editor Conchúr Ó Liatháin told Eurolang that Lá will not be gagged and that the paper, 20 years of age this year, will overcome the obstacles. He admitted, however, that Lá faces difficult times as the campaign begins to bite. And he appealed to those interested in the future of the Irish language to sign the Lá online petition.

Tensions rise on Ulster's newsstands
New nationalist paper is on the way as Belfast Telegraph plans morning edition
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/story/0,3604,1367749,00.html
A controversial new addition is imminent. The Daily Ireland is a nationalist paper set to hit newsstands in the Republic and Northern Ireland in February next year. It will be published by the Belfast-based Andersontown News Group, whose titles include the Andersontown News and Gaelic language publication Lá.
Mairtin O'Muilleoir, managing director of the Daily Ireland and a former Sinn Fein councillor, is confident that it will generate sales north and south of the border. Ten dedicated staff are working on the project, with a further 30 to be hired before February. "We are on the cusp of new beginnings in Ireland and it is a wonderful opportunity for a newspaper with our proposition, which is positively nationalist, pro-peace process and all Ireland," O'Muilleoir says. "Often you see products looking for a market but we have a market crying out for this product."

No 10 'linked to cash for paper'
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Northern_Ireland/Story/0,2763,1329406,00.html
Unionists claimed last night that the British government's decision to give an extra £450,000 of taxpayers' money to a west Belfast-based private newspaper group was linked to talks between Sinn Fein and senior Downing Street negotiators.
They have called for a parliamentary inquiry into why the Blair government handed over more cash to the Andersonstown News Group, alleging that the move was sanctioned at the highest levels.
