offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

offsite link AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Ding Dong The Witch is Dead!

category international | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Tuesday March 16, 2004 19:47author by waking up to a new time. - we never gave ourselves a catchy name. Report this post to the editors

indications are that wicked witch of the East is Dead.

By the end of the month of June, which is for Irish readers notable as it marks the end of the Irish Presidency of the European Union,
if the United Nations the agreed, legal and proper institution of international arbitration is not completely charged with the task of Iraqi reconstruction the Spanish Armed Forces will leave that country and that people.

I repeat :-

Without the UN the war on terror may not be prosecuted, this is something I and my peers in the international community have consistently written, said, shouted and proclaimed.

I repeat:-

No UN - No troops in Iraq.

I repeat:-

The wicked witch of the East is Dead.

************************************************

This is newsworthy for several reasons. It is a clear sign that the wicked witch of the West is still over there. But we must no longer be swayed in our resolute belief in the proper institutions of international co-operation, conflict resolution and arbitration. We must never again, be turned on the product of our collective history, the fruit of our collective past, the institutions we created and formed and have thoughtfully paid all our dues to.

*************************************************

¿How did this come about?

Well, there was a big storm almost like a twister, a little girl and a little dog called Toto.
There was a Scarecrow who found his courage, there was Tinman who found his heart, there was a Lion who remembered his brains. And faith and truth and wisdom. And certain mythical powers ascribed to a perfectly ordinary man in exile. and those shoes which were made for walking.
and walking they did go.
with TOTO.

*************************************************

¿does this mean Peace in our Time?

Well, no not exactly, we are still targetted by enemies, and we are still greedy, exploitative, unwise and harsh in our dealings with the world and our neighbours, but we have learnt that neither appeasement nor offence will protect us. We have started the return to the balance established between civilised nations which the founding mammies and daddies of our little constitutions really really wanted.

*************************************************

¿will this effect my social security entitlement?

Well we as of yet can not say, but a small indication from Spain and Catalonia was the reduced vote 95,000 for the parties of the right and the increased vote 200,000 for the tripartitie candidates. The application of simple mathematics (math in american english) means 105,000 people voted who normally _do not vote_. If these people are on the dole, they ought be remembered, if these people make your TV you maybe should watch it, if these people write books, you really ought to make a mental note to buy a copy sometime. If these people use their walking shoes and go out with TOTO again, you pay attention to them.

*************************************************
Meanwhile Life goes on as usual.
repeat:-
LIFE goes on as usual.

*************************************************
thank you for the space.

the wicked witch is dead.

TVE was fined for lying about the General Strike. It had reported the PP minister who had said "it was not a general strike".

The Prestige was covered up and mismanaged.

Spanish Soldiers were commited to a war without a UN mandate.

Numerous Multi-National Corporations left without warning resulting in unemployment and economic instability.

Job insecurity increased to the highest levels in the EU.

The Basque people were insulted, denigrated, and consistently removed from their rightful place in both the Spanish and European Sphere.

The Catalan people were insulted and denigrated and associated with Terrorism and thier institutions and elected politicians subjected to spies.

And more, and much much more.
Last night the lists on the cable TV of the offences commited in the name of an absolute majority ran to three minutes of insult, abuse and bad government.

May his supporters in Ireland know.

Unhide Arguments re witch is dead post on Ed List : This was hidden for a while as Gobbledygook. This is here as a condition of unhiding.

1. News Content

A) 'By the end of the month of June, which is for Irish readers notable as it marks the end of the Irish Presidency of the European Union, if the United Nations the agreed, legal and proper institution of international arbitration is not completely charged with the task of Iraqi reconstruction the Spanish Armed Forces will leave that country and that people.'

B) 'Well we as of yet can not say, but a small indication from Spain and Catalonia was the reduced vote 95,000 for the parties of the right and the increased vote 200,000 for the tripartitie candidates. The application of simple mathematics (math in american english) means 105,000 people voted who normally _do not vote_.'

C) In Spain -  'Life goes on as usual'.

2. Style/Tone etc - It's convoluted but 'walking with toto' to iosaf I reckon without thinking too hard about it is a comment on the way in which the young and disengaged sections of the Spanish electorate (lion Tin Man etc)  took their cue from those who went out in the street on the saturday evening outside PP offices around spain - (RTSers etc- Toto) - and voted in a brave way rather than staying home as they usually do. This is not some wierd opinion of Iosafs - I've seen the same commented on all over the place - young first time voters from 'Ordianary working areas' swung the election.

Most are too coy to state frankly that it was No-Global activists who lit the fire. Iosaf could be criticised for not saying it so clearly but it is an important point.

Who is the little girl - That I don't get ;-)

yes but I don't as I have written again and again come on here to produce journalese.
If I do journalese I do it elsewhere.
I come here to craft words for multiple readers at multiple levels. And that's sort of irritating for loads but hey it gets the message across. (We are a funny bunch we the non journalist indymedia crew).
I know the syntax is difficult, just go word by word, and the orthography as well, mis-spelling gets up journalists noses. You appear to have been trained to write the way you do like the kernals of the collective, remember I was trained to compose music.

Anyway back to the Musicians:-

POLAND.

for those interested in myth, Saruman has been vanquished, but as you know that means the great eye looked our way. It also meant the loss of one of his palínter but only after a halfling foolishly used it. The great Liar has now moved his orcs to Poland where he will continue his attempt to split the continent in his charmless words "old europe from new".
His understanding of the interlocking circles has not gone beyond worrying about anti American prejudice at the Olympiad.

Poland is one of the ancient kingdoms of Christendom which is now a republic.
The Polish are very like the Irish and the Spanish, their sons are in uniform in Iraq, they have learnt all sorts of nastyness in their history, which no man may forget or disregard. I repeat -no man may forget-

Light another candle for Warsaw.

And finally Bertie you _too_ have felt the fear.
Swim around your pond a while, there is time yet.

For lighthearted readers, The Spanish version of For Him Magazine has congratulated the Irish on their sense of humour in the current March 2004 issue.
They have carried a lovely photo of the "look left" sign which really helps out the pedestrian over there. They send you, the people of Ireland their love. I'll send someone a copy of the magazine in the post, and if anyone would send me the last issue of Mongrel I quite like the front cover.

the insult of "appeasement" issued by Washington, and has compared such non solidarity with the immediate reactions of the European Powers and People to the carnage in NYC on the 9th of September. Amongst writers, film-makers, authors and intellectuals the comparison is being made across the languages of Europe to the appeasement perhaps made to Washington by us then in allowing them take such a foolish course of action.

As was put quite clearly in section four of the text above, :-

"¿does this mean Peace in our Time?

Well, no not exactly, we are still targetted by enemies, and we are still greedy, exploitative, unwise and harsh in our dealings with the world and our neighbours, but we have learnt that neither appeasement nor offence will protect us. "

A tumult walked from Paseig de Gracia through St Pere down Via Laietana to Pla de Palua.

I don't know how many, hundreds of thousands of living beings, children, parents, animals, old people. I don't think it matters if it was below or over a million.
That doesn't matter anymore.

International rep. came under the Flags of Palestine, France, Argentina, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, Australia, and the Star of David, I'm sure there were more but I didn't like record it all.
All political parties and unions (except the PP), Nunca Mais, Boycott the warmongers' shares, various religious groups, all the imams of BCN with their muslim congregations, a sprinkling of nuns, a stilt walking Alien who advised "universal peace", a lot of shouting the way we learnt how to do, a lot of running for the kids that short ten metres to keep them from getting bored. A lot of jumping up and down for the students reminding Arnaz he's a monkey, a lot of interesting flags the most curious of which ("are always those which do not exist") - the 2nd Republic colours with the crest of the Bourbon Family of Spain.
In addition all the favourites, Che Guevara "hasta la victoria sempre!", Euskal Herria, Galizia "GZ", the Soviet Union, this year the tibetans did not turn up, and the end of the procession which took near an hour to pass our small group by as we stood on Placa Angel was taken by "americans for peace" and a bunch of Motorbikers on their very big bikes which they do like, but they don't want any blood for the petrol. They said so, & I said I'd let you know.
-so I've let you know.

has become the first ex-president of Spain to face a government inquiry, answering questions relating to the role he played in the bombing of Madrid on the 11th of March 2004.

He has declared his belief that 198 people died in cold blood to throw the re-election of his party, and has said that if the election had been set for the 7th of March the bombing would have occured on the 4th.

He has declared his belief that the PSOE and other media entities conspired to throw the re-election of his party in the immediate aftermath of the decision made by his executive to mislead both Spanish and European peoples.

He has declared that someday "the truth will come out".

Here are the most interesting statements from ex President Jose Maria Aznar who's term in office will be remembered by some as a peak in Spain's global influence with an accompanying reduction of democratic and civil and human rights, and by others as the occassion that Spain was brought against the wishes of her people into an illegal war on a sovreign nation which resulted in a massacre of 198 innocent people.
http://www.elmundo.es/documentos/2004/03/espana/atentados11m/comision/comparecencias/aznar/frases.html
Mr Aznar confirms his conscience is clear.
That's grand then, so is mine. Mr Aznar doesn't seem to realise that many would have protested a PSOE government just the same if they had done such things.
