There will be a mass cycle ride along the quays meeting at Smithfield Market at1pm and heading along the north towards Talbot Bridge and coming back along the South Quays. Refreshments will be provided and the streets will be closed off so it'll be a rare opportunity to enjoy some car-free cycling in Dublin city centre. CYCLISTS ARE BACK IN THE ST PADDY'S FESTIVAL!!! It's a few years since the DCC took part in the St. Patrick's Day festival - when we dressed as Witches & Wizards, Celts & Vikings, or Devils & Angels and ran through our synchronised cycling set pieces - and had a great day out into the bargain. The DCC have been invited to partake in the festival again, but this time on Saturday 13th March, a few days before the big day. |
