David's Story: Update

David, who wrote the homeless piece some time ago, has finally found a place to stay.

cycling to work this morning I noticed David was still on the street so I stopped and asked him how he was getting on. He said he got a job about three weeks ago doing shift work but had to work a back week before he got paid. He used his first pay packet to get a roof over his head. He's now living in rented accomodation. He said it used up all his money so for a little while longer he will still have to supplement his income from the street. But the end is in sight.
