offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Again, simple missunderstanding.

I dont believe this. Have I been mistaken for somebody else!?! I wont go on to much about this, as it has nothing to do with the subject.

I am not this 'no one', that you speak of. The name I use is 'Noone'. I am strongly against all fascist movements and all forms of racism, and have NEVER posted a link to any site to do with fascism or racism.
The above comment read "what about keeping Moore street white". I found this comment very rascist and commented on it. It's possible that I misread the above statement, and took it for something it wasnt, or others misread mine.

It seems someone else with a very simular name, posts racist/fascist comments and links. I have never seen any comments or links myself (probably due to their early deletion) but if needs be, I will change the name I use to avoid being associated with this nazi person(s) in question.

And the reason that this person(s) always seems to post around the same time as me, is probably due to the fact that Internet access is cheaper after six.

Hope this rest resolves a few issues.
Regards
(the real) Noone

Obviously there aren't enough subsrcibers to your shit at your newsgroup or else you would be busy answering mails.
and I wonder how you react to learning that the Ethopians and Eritreans are semitic? I suppose you thought of them as "hamitic"?¿?

Josef is not one of the names I use.
I use Iosaf, Ipsiphi, Oasif.
Josef is a socialist sounding person whose name beig similar to iosaf, cuases such confusion.
I presume "No one" is "noone", as they enter the site at the same time, Noone leaves fascist links to his "revisionism" yahoo group which are immediately deleted, and then to feel clever and avoid the censor uses several names to add comments most of which are thinly veiled racism.

It is always difficult to know the gender of posters, that is why the anonymous nature of chatrooms allows for sexual fantasies to be played out-

The guy with the guitar (accompanied by an un-named RTSer/autonomist/critical masser/etc and a now heavily tattooed [I'm extremely jealous of the new one I must admit] veteran anarcho-feminist of the fanzine scene) was asked by Larry O'Toole spontaneously to give a song to the crowd. He was more than happy to oblige, in fact afterwards in De Flowing Tide he was waxing lyrical about being involved in a part of history.

He was quite happy to be dragged up to Moore Street, he specifically asked to see the Gee Pee Oh (after thinking that the centre of the Rising was the Green!) and when yer good self, Justin, wandered along, and informed us of the protests at no. 16, he was as happy as Larry (not O'Toole, just a figure of speech!) to be a part of it.

Afterwards an aul wan with a shopping cart that appeared to have metamorphosed into a zimmer frame on wheels (Flann O'Brien no doubt would have some comment) cornered him after this performance and walked him at a snails pace up Moore Street, harping on about the 'Ra in the olden times. He lapped it up!

Good to see that the 'Drift' still works wonders in this city. You never know what bleedin freaks you'll bump into. Unemployment rocks. Now if only the fuckin Social Welfare would quit pissing around and pay my dole.

I left them in me other coat :)

It's difficult to describe the version, it wasn't bad as such, just different words here and there and a different rhythmn to the song. Fair play to the man for getting up and singing considering he had no idea what we were draggin him to.

As for the drag, there were too many speeches and in particular, Tomas MacGiolla's effort. Now I'm not trying to score anti-stickie points here. For all I know the ten minute speech, longest of the evening, that MacGiolla gave was a powerful oration and a dramactic account but I was standing about five feet from him and I could not make out a word he was saying.

For ten minutes people stodd around listening to an incoherent mumble occasionally enlivened when he turned and pointed at something.

this is why you must carry a digital camera and minidisc recorder with you at all times.

the readers need to know about these little details.
why was it an "unusual version"?
when you say "dragged" what does that mean?
and why are Noone's entries to the website not charted timewise and all his comments erased like his articles?

I wasnt have a dig at yourself Justin. I wouldnt expect you to know all the different groups. There has been accusations that RSF were only attending big marches to gain publicity and that they were absent from the smaller ones. I was just pointing out that this is not the case.

Why didnt you leave your name? Why do you have to be anonymous? Or did you simply forget to leave your name? Due to lack of intelligence maybe? If your going to make such a strong statement, atleast back it up and support it. Why do you oppose the small black community that live in and around that area?
Such a childish racist comment it was.

A crowd of just under 100 people took part in a protest rally at 16 Moore St this evening followed by a march to City Hall to send the message to the Counil that they wished this historical landmark preserved.

The proceedings at 16 Moore St were chaired by Sinn Féin Councillor Larry O'Toole but there was a non-partisan atmosphere to the occasion with the placards supplied bearing no party symbol or slogan. Cllr O'Toole thanked those councillors who attended the event including Sinn Féin Councillors Burke, Ellis and Kehoe, Labour Councillors Mayor Lacey and Costello TD and Fianna Fáil Councillor Chris Andrews.

Historian Michael MacDonncha gave an illuminating and dramatic account of the history of 16 Moore St and the final days of the rebellion. This was followed by a speech from the Chairman of the National Graves Association. After this however the event got a bit bogged down with an interminable, an inaudible, (No sound system) speech from Tomas MacGiolla and shorter speeches from Mayor Lacey and Joe Costello.

A visibly impatient crowd was then treated to an oration by Jer O'Leary of James Connolly's final statement and an unusual version of Rising of the Moon by an American tourist who had been dragged along by friends.

Garda motorcycle escort in tow, the crowd then moved onto Henry St and into Capel St on its way to City Hall. The crowd was probably at its height now at about a hundred people. About half the crowd were, I estimate, Sinn Féin people and supporters but I saw members from most other parties and even a member of the SWP, without paper I am glad to admit.

The march was good humoured and arrived at City Hall at around 6pm where the Councillors went in to debate the issue. The motion to preserve the site has all-party support and Cllr O'Toole, thanking the crowd for coming expressed his hope they would be successful.
