Call to Arrest a Garda Thugs

Credibility of Garda in Question Garda Donal Corcoran of Mountjoy station (now on desk duty in Fitzbibbon Station) he is the face of Police Brutality in Ireland, but he was not the only one. many officers are pictured randomley battoning portersers on and around the head. When the Police are crimanals they must be treated like everybody else and arrested and locked up., otherwise we can not claim to live in a democracy

So thge Gards are to Investigate the Gards, and we are supposed to believe there outcome? got real!
Bertie predictably changed his tune when he realised he was totaly out of step with public opinion. Everybody in Ireland knows what happened in Dublin on Monday, the police attacked peaceful protesters in a politacaly motivated attack.
The Irish political police will now target the Irish Anti-capatlist Bloc, Organisers and campainers watch out in the comming months as the police try to direct the blame elsewhere.

Garda Corcoran behaved like a animal, but he was not the only one, his superiors watched on and did or said nothing.

Iam sure if Garda CCTV footage showed any protester violance we would have seen it by now

How many Gards were involved and who where they? Name and Shame

The actual cops in question should go down, without doubt, and probaly will (well a token one or two) but in the scheme of things it is a small matter, and a little unfair as one or two more senior cops witnessed in person(and didnt seem too horrified)what we all saw on Dame Street. Are there really only a few cops who will strike out unprovoked? Are there not many more waiting to come out of Templemore? It's the fault of the organisation that allows this to happen. The whole structure of the force will have to change or this will happen over and over again. And when things happen over and over again they start to lose their media appleal. Then where will the struggle against police violence be? Will the mainsteam media be appeased when the cops resort to the old method of violence in squad cars and police stations and isolated instances at the side of the road in Tallaght?
