Dismissing the rape gang scandal as a "dog whistle" isn't just tone-deaf ? it's a vile insult to victims and exposes a government more afraid of losing votes than of protecting children, says Henry Hill in the Telegraph.

heya

i was in GR for a while but then didnt bother getting involved any more cos I dont like the SWP. but there were some good people who joined GR but i dont see them much any more.

i havent heard anything about GR in the last few months, do they still exist, do they ever have public meetings for their members? do they have discussions or anything like that?

someone said to me that they're all focused on the antiwar thing now, when the war finishes the SWP are going to get GR moving again to get people to the G8 and joining their party

when the Iraq war finishes I'm predicting a big surge back to "anti-globalisation", no doubt GR will be there trying to get people in to the SWP again

I reckon the SWP/GR/IAWM are busy being the IAWM at the moment. They will be back before you know it.

We're going to Evian and not sure how yet. I'm sure GR are going too and likely to be the only ones organising a group to go, busses etc. Unless Grassroots are???

We dont plan to march with the Red Block anyway so I guess it's just a matter of getting there and then we'll find our place.
